From what I've seen, it does just look like an infighting simulator, but there's one faction that caught my eye. Power Armor wearing monks with an apparent hypermasculine leader. Here's a link to his YouTube community page where he made the announcement. I don't feel like screenshotting every post because I'm lazy, so here's just the one talking about the factions

I think I almost recognize what each of these are except #1:

2. The Master from Fallout
3. Seems vaguely like GlaDos (Portal)
4. Some crashed ship of the Imperium with most of the loyal crew dead.
5. Some faggy version of the Brotherhood of Steel.
Just seems like some cherry-picked crossover

Seems like a lame setting as he claimed he wanted a more progressive bent like Star Trek, when Star Trek was famous for expansionist and even Fascistic civilizations like the Cardassian Union. Did he even ever watch Star Trek?

I think it’s interesting that despite Star Trek having leftist leanings, reflecting the politics of its creator, it still had enough nuance to depict a real diversity of thought in its spacefaring civilizations, with many of the most prominent and advanced civilizations having “regressive”, reactionary, and even tribalistic elements. Commies believe that any advanced civilization is inherently going to be communist because it’s simply the path civilization will always take. They even apply this to aliens with potentially completely different social structures and moral views.

Btw pretty sure the reason why in Adam’s setting capitalism is completely dead is because the unironic cope commies have come up with for why communism has consistently failed every time it’s attempted despite some being the most powerful countries in the world at some point is because capitalism must be completely destroyed before communism can truly start because otherwise the CIA will subvert every communist regime and turn the people against it. They are actually this stupid and naive. It’s also why they want freedom of speech and the press to be taken away because it’s a vector for CIA agents to convince people communism is bad actually.

He genuinely got famous with his Adam ruins everything series. Early on it started off pretty reasonable with some contrarian points like hiw McDonald's coffee lawsuit and etc... but eventually he became another smug reddit leftist who knows everything and is basically confirming the biases of every reddit pilled lefty who still thinks the gop is Bush.

Was thinking more along the lines of post-ww2 Fascism. Franco was there in Spain for almost 40 years; he "survived" the war because Spain was neutral. - The most Franco did was send the Azul Division to Eastern Europe to fight the Soviets, though Spain's supply of fighting age men was decimated because the country had just gone through a civil war. When Franco died, Pinochet was the only foreign leader to attend his funeral; he (Pinochet) died in I think the late 90's or early 2000's, though he'd been out of office for years by then thanks to an internal coup where a nationwide vote was forced; at least 44% of Chile wanted Pinochet to stay in office as dictator, but the other 56% got their way in the end.

Salazar was Portugal's dictator, and he was a somewhat more introverted Franco who was there for a long time as well. Idi Amin was a notable world figure in the 70's, though when he was ousted he fled Uganda by helicopter, then was given asylum in Saudi Arabia and lived there for the rest of his life; he was a very vicious man and was given the nickname "Black Hitler" for a reason.
