See what gets me about troons is the voice. They try and sound so feminine and they dont. They fail so god damn hard. I swear trans people need to be exiled like the lepers to a colony a troonity somewhere far away like in the middle of the pacific ocean

What they have is a voice that's already naturally gotten deeper because of testosterone, which they then apply a heavy feminine cadence to in order to sound more like a woman. But it still doesn't sound like a woman, what you've just created is just the classic tranny voice, not a woman's voice.

Talking about philosphy doesn't make you a philosopher oh my God. Some people have argued that Seneca isn't a philosopher in the strict sense of the world because he doesn't really present any new philosophical theory, but mostly writes about about already established ideas; these two retards barely even do that. If they are philosophers then the essays I wrote for philosophy class in high school make me a philosopher too. Or sorry do I need to dress like a clown and sing the praises of girldick to be one?

I think they both have actual philosophy degrees, Contra was even working on a Phd. But still, that doesn't make their videos about actual serious philosophy as opposed to 1.5 hour long feature films about people who are transphobic.

Sure, I'm aware that academia, media and the government have more power than the plebs. But cosmopolitanism tends to fall apart when the elite becomes too detached from the everyday people. Otherwise the French monarchy would still exist or my people would still be living in the Ottoman Empire.

For all the troon's preaching about it being a philosophy channel, I searched to see if I could find any blathering about Mind-Body duality and couldn't find anything. Since tranny thinking presupposes such a thing exists (my body is male, but my soul is female), I was surprised to not find backwards reasoning to advocate for it.

Maybe best to not bring up the mind-body thing, as it leads to thinking about the existence of souls/essence. Also, the mind-body problem has a rich history of evil white religious men talking about it.

It's interesting coming from philosophy youtubers. When Descartes tried to determine what could be known for certain if you can't rely on your senses and memory because there might be an evil devil tricking you and implanting false perceptions (proto-Matrix), the one thing he could establish was that you know that you exist. You may only exist as a brain in a vat, but your mind must exist if it is even capable of attempting to deny its existence.

When Descartes tried to establish more than that as true knowledge, he had to rely on bringing God in. So the mind is known first, then we can rely on our perceptions and the existence of our bodies as we see them because God exists and God is good and would not deceive us.

It'd be interesting to see how they explain the theory of troonism in light of philosophy, where the mind is separate from the body not in the sense that they can be differently gendered, but in the sense that the mind is untethered from the body and could exist separately. Even Socrates referred to his body as a prison, from which his mind will finally escape upon death and then it would perceive the pure forms. How can you study philosophy and then just accept without debate the existence of a limited, body-dependent gendered mind? If I think, then I must exist and my body must be what my mind says it is and I won't entertain any further thought about whether that may be a deception or unreliable perception. It's not merely lazy; it's just not philosophy at all. It's religious dogma.

I guess the idea is that since more women are leftist and more men are right-wing, you can kind of observe a masculine/feminine dichotomy of philosophies between the right and left wing. I don't personally think it makes a man less masculine if they're leftists, but if you think about it you can kind of correlate a lot of far-left politics to extreme feminine thinking and far-right politics to extreme far-right thinking. Far-left being the belief there's a responsibility to take care of not only each other but absolutely everyone, and the far-right often being highly individualistic and having "every man for himself"-type thinking. I guess it doesn't correlate in all situations as there can be someone who's a far-right collectivist or third-positionist and things like that, but you get the idea. I think this all might be more obvious at this political moment in time, since 15 years ago people were less extreme in their politics than they are now.

It's weird. I work close to tech, so I've been around a lot of transpeople lately. The most ordinary and inoffensive transpeople don't use their coming out thing for political grandstanding. For that matter, they don't pitch it as this revelatory "Oh my god, I'm a woman!" moment either. Olly's coming out raised red flags to me when I watched it, and not even over anything in particular that he said - the tone of it, etc. is a red flag, and it usually means there's some nut shit coming. Olly, generally speaking, knows how to manage his PR, so we might not see that nut shit straight away, but oh man. I can't mark it in my calendar, but I won't be shocked when he slip'n'slides clear over the edge.

I'm talking about support of left wing economic policies. I'm not sure why you started talking about liberals. Maybe I used the wrong terminology? As far as I'm concerned, liberal is an unrelated orthogonal axis (with authoritarianism at its opposite end).

Conservatism in economic terms means low tax, low regulation, independent business, standing on your own two feet - manliness.

Socialism, or as these fags would call it "luxury gay space communism", is endless hand outs on other people's dimes, food and shelter being provided by someone else (the state) - it's female in character.

I honestly respect trooning out for political/oppression points more than slapping the "nonbinary" label on, telling people to refer to you as they/them, and calling it a day because trooning out takes actual dedication but that's all most of this really is, political posturing, I do not for a second believe that most of these people are legit trans. Another reason is probably because most of these people are straight, white, cis males who are part of a community who openly hates all of those things, so they'll identify with and/or become part of a "marginalized group" so their peers will accept them better instead of just finding new peers. At the end of the day, I'm kind of a libtard but I legit feel more accepted when talking to actual far-right nazi's than wokescolds or any leftists for that matter so I don't know how these people fucking do it, why would you care to gain the acceptance of people whose caring for you is so conditional and easy to destroy.
