Fun fact: Nyk is now effectively Oliver's transwidow, but at least poor Nyk doesn't have to grovel and beg the UK to let him to be a widow, unlike Oliver who was complaining about how he has to beg the UK government to let him be "a wife or a mother". (BTW, that was total bullshit, if Oliver wants to LGBT-marry or adopt a child he's legally allowed to.)

He actually got shit done in the form of getting the Voting Rights and Civil Rights Acts passed. He did it through consistent and dedicated nonviolent methods, which pretty much everyone, including other black activists thought was impossible. He wasn't just a great speaker, he mobilized pretty much every large anti-Jim Crow protest during the Civil Rights era which was also across racial lines. Remember that it was the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom. MLK brought together labor unions, religious groups, black political parties, and other left wing movements. How you get all these people to stay on the same message without any violence breaking out is beyond me.

Not to mention that every other black political movement at the time failed. They either weren't successful, never got popular enough to implement their program, got destroyed by COINTELPRO, killed by other black people, or turned into communist terrorists. MLK get lionized because was pretty much the only person to achieve tangible gains for black people in the United States and no has been able to do that since then.

I don't know if all of this guy's videos are like this, but good god is this an objectively shit video. It goes on for almost 30 minutes but almost half it just spent word-for-word reading Ellen Page's coming out tweet AND THEN an entire GLAAD article that's meant to re-educate you about how to properly refer to trans people. In school you're told not to simply read out your powerpoint presentations word-for-word and and have that be almost your entire presentation. I bet he got pretty bad grades in middle school.

Johnson was all for escalation, though, and was president at the time King was protesting the war. The second Gulf of Tonkin incident was exaggerated and used as an excuse to force people to fight in a war that was completely inconsequential to the American public.

And I wonder if he, too, will delete all trace of his past. I feel like most people who discovered Contrapoints recently probably imagine he was some very effeminate guy who claimed to be a woman since being a toddler and loved girly stuff and all that stereotype. I wish they knew he was a nerdy straight guy with a distinct male energy, despite his crossdressing and not being the most macho. Maybe then they would question the troon agenda. 'Familiarity breeds comptent' and most people, unlike us, have only been exposed to homosexual trannies, and still believe they're soo rare. But soon, I guess, many transbians will slip into the mainstream and more people will connect the dots and will see the AGP fetish, the contagion effect, etc.
