I know a couple of communists and I can tell you they are pretty prone to infighting, the amount of variants of communism is baffling, marxism-Leninism, Maoism, hoxhaism, Titoism, Trotskyism, anarcho-communism, Stalinism, the number of variants is outstanding, and most of the dictators they are named after are also huge lolcows, but I think this man might've been thinking of this when talking about communism, basically discounting every other autistic variant of socialism/communism/whatever, and focusing on the soviet union, maybe the warsaw pact if we stretch it.
Your correct the infighting and variants are ridiculous and I thought religion was bad at that.

Don't forget the soup of opinions regarding the Soviet Union. By the people who accept that the Soviet Union was communist (a lot of breadtubers and western communists don't) the question is for how long it was communistic. I have heard that Lenin was basically the only true communist leader, I've heard that Soviet's communism ended with Stalin, that there was a gradual shift away from communism with Gorbachev being basically a capitalist and that certain aspects of the Soviet Union being communistic while other aspects weren't.
Khrushchev foolishly promised communism in 10 years, and since they couldn't admit they were wrong Brezhnev started claiming that there was actually existing socialism in the USSR. Gorbachev wanted to keep a broadly socialist system but brought in some limited market restructuring before the union broke up.
The only reason the "capitalism in decay" meme exists is because communists kept losing a lot of their members to fascism back in the day, there's a reason terms like "beefsteak nazi" exist.

The left wing faction of the NSDAP was destroyed in 1934. Fascism as it came to be by the late 1930s was state capitalist and anti-communist, though some people within the German government wanted to move towards more central planning, as did Kishi in Japan. The Strasserist faction made a comeback postwar because of Arab nationalism and the influence of the USSR.

Fascism is a "third position" distinct from classical liberal capitalism and communism, but it has a more right-leaning side (what the Axis powers+Spain and Portugal were in practice) and a more left-leaning side (nazbols, Ba'athists, Strasserists, Yockeys, and the like). The left side of fascism has a lot of overlap with tankies and places like /r/stupidpol and /r/GenZedong see a fair bit of that, but I wouldn't say communism and the right side of fascism are really that close other than being extreme and violent. Add to this that a lot of fascists are also fans of explicitly right wing South American dictators like the Brazilian junta (who were supported by Salgado and the Brazilian fascists of the WW2 era) and you can see how the political compass memers end up putting them in AuthRight or AuthCentre.
Especially since there is a pandemic going on and doctors are busy trying to keep people alive and getting them vaccinated. I mean whether initially or not she basically saying that getting her pills is more import then someone's life.
There is of course, the possibility they're simply outright lying and were never even remotely right-wing or political at all.
I suppose for the majority of BreadTube, the term “Social Justice Apologist” or “SJA” (copyright:me) might be more appropriate since most of them don't act like outright SJWs (on the surface at least), but recite & reinforce the same bullshit beliefs & talking points (and may or may not actually believe them themselves) and dunk on those nasty Anti-SJWs who call out such bullshit thus acting as confirmation bias to outright SJWs.
