JayReg is, or at least *was*, a leftist before he made ironic anti-centrism his brand. In the Political Compass Rap that made him famous, he introduces Totalitarian Left, and both the Rights as despicable villains bragging about how awful they are. Then he introduces Anarchist Left who spends most of his lines telling them to go fuck themselves rather than, y'know, bragging about how awful lefty anarchism is (except for one tiny gag about how he gives away drugs for free).

Also, he later edited this out, but there was originally a joke after the end screen that said (pretty much word for word):

Totalitarian Right: We should commit genocide!
Anarchist Left: We should not do that!
Centrist: Hmm. They both make such good points.

I feel like I'm being fucking gaslit here because I can't find that version on any reaction channels, and most people don't even know you can cut videos after upload. But this archive from 2019 shows it was originally 5 seconds longer. And if you play the current video at its last frame, you briefly see the caption for TR's line about committing genocide.

Plus, he uses the okay-sign emoji to represent Totalitarian Right. I rest my case.

He's Canadian, so I don't know if you can call him a Bernie Bro, but I think it's a good description. I believe he is from Ottawa (or attended University there?) a big city with quite a few schools, so the area probably leans left in general.

Greg was born in 1997, but would not do anything notable until April 14, 2009, when he released the video "Flava Crava" on the YouTube channel "Jreg" for a school project.
He would not use the channel again until five years later, creating "Dramatic Reading of Excavia". He would continue using the channel sporadically throughout high school and college, with his channel attracting little attention. Two months later in April, Greg released "Political Compass Rap". This was his most successful video at the time, and is what brought him a massive subscriber boost.

Which is why I'm curious, what is his relationship to BreadTube? Because I thought BreadTube was specifically an anti-anti-sjw group and Hunter clealry hasn't done a full 360 degree turn if he's still making Anti-SJW content and yet he's been mentioned on this thread a few times. Is he the token Anti-SJW of BreadTube? Surely it can't just be the fact that he's become more left-leaning and supports trannies. Cos It's not impossible to be left-wing & anti-sjw. Hell, if I recall correctly, the first anti-sjws were atheists and/or liberals who were disillusioned with atheism+. Also there are anti-sjws who support trannies or hell, are trannies themselves (do I need to name the most famous one?).

I’ve been away from this thread for bit. Has anyone pointed out that PT did narration for a huge chunk of Lindsay’s book? The book and audio came out on July 21 2020. I don’t know the specifics behind this publication stuff, but PT did mention being out in their private life for roughly a year.
I dunno. But the handful of low reviews complaining about the narration is funny lol

Breadtubers have a childlike understanding of the things they claim to dislike. They simply lack the capability to understand why people might adopt a contrary philosophy to their own, outside of a moral judgement that those people are inherently bad.
