Note, Philosophy Tube may very well pull a Contrapoints and delete all his videos, so it'd be really great if somebody could please archive them all. I'd do it but my youtube-dl has been having problems(no updating doesn't fix it).

To play Devil's Advocate actually feeling bad for picking the evil choices in a video game shows that the game has worked its magic and the player himself feels emotional attachment to the story/world being displayed. And there's nothing wrong in not enjoying the story of a game when doing the evil choices, that's kinda the point you're supposed to feel like you're doing the wrong things. I reloaded a prior Mass Effect 1 save point because I wasn't going to let my Giant Spacefrog Bro Wrex get murdered by that dumb bitch Ashley. A great video game actually makes you mull over the choices as displayed and it's the designer/writers job to make you want to help the game's digital characters.

As for Undertale I enjoyed that game, I didn't do the Genocide route because it does indeed seem to be a giant pain in the ass with you having to go around each area killing all the enemies and I know full well I lack the patience to beat that Sans bossfight which was purposely designed to be insanely difficult. I'm hoping Shaun is joking though writing that anyone who does genocide is sick, it's a fucking video game you're not hurting anyone.
