Can anyone calculate roughly what admittances alone for 11 years of Burning Man would cost? IIRC it's something obscene, like $300-400 per person. They live like filthy hippies, but actual burnout hippies could never afford to go.
On top of that most people take an RV instead of a tent so thats even more money too. Which would be $200 or more per day in the middle of summer. So it's probably not that different cost wise to a week on a tropical island, but its marketed as an edgy hippy festival for counterculture types.

There sure are an awful lot of people posting on the Burning Man Reddit about how they're at Burning Man, which seems, I don't know... like the polar opposite of why the festival exists to begin with???

I know people who go and I'm considering going one year myself, but the Reddit sure isn't helping.

On the Dick Masterson podcast, he related an amusing story of how he discovered an expensively designed and fabricated furfag orgy tent at Burning Man one year. Maybe @OwO What's This? knows the episode number

I probably know people involved with that. :c
