So a link was discovered about Butch Hartman telling people at Christian Seminars that his streaming service Oaxis will be Christian. He of course let no one know this in the official video. As you can probably not going over well.

Some highlights from the video including him saying that all of his work has Christian Parables, that adults shouldn't watch adult shows, and that there was no such thing as mental illness when he was a kid.

Out of curiosity did he ever make a comment on the Andrew Weiss debacle?

Butch doing this isn't new or unexpected. He is amazingly quick on the uptake and to protect his "Brand", which is him by the way. He knows that selling this site as a Christian site would doom it in the press and online, so he just hid that part from the mainstream but shared it with his Bible Thumping Compadres. The Prog's will boycott anything that sounds like it might be tied to Christainity. If he had used Islam instead, tho? It would have been plastered all over everything, giving him that sweet advertising for free.

The only two Christian aspects I remember from his work are Timmy reciting John 8:22b in the First Fairly Odd Parents movie (The Truth will set you free) and of course you have The Darkness Has seen a great light from the Wishology trilogy. Other than that you would be hard pressed to find Christian Material in any of his work

You might be on to something, I guess those who reproched Butch to not talk or deal about LGBT issues, they would had let him at peace if Butch had talked about Islam.

I remember people getting mad at him a while back when he said ghost characters in Danny Phantom were not dead people despite being established as such in the show. I think it's possible he became one of those born-again Christian types after he made a lot of his works and is backpedaling.

The fact that he lied bothers me way more than his religiousness. Where in the "good book" does it say that you can pull the wool over people's eyes for profit?

Not sure about in his works, but Hartman was very upset when Tumblr started to headcanon Danny Fenton as trans. I don't have any links, but I remember many Tumblrinas complaining about this because "Muh representation!!" This was right before he unveiled his designs for a potential Danny Phantom reboot. Funny, because didn't FOP have canon mpreg?

I've also heard of him cracking down on shipping, but especially gay pairings. Again, no proof, but something I've remember specifically.

To be fair, I'd be upset as well if a character I made was being championed as trans.
Maybe not even upset, but just disappointed toward that kinda bullcrap.
