100% agreed. There's no fucking way someone in their right mind would be able to have enough time to create a google document, but not enough to at the very LEAST call the authorities for a wellness check.

The idea of an adult being "bullied" is so fucking laughable it makes my head spin. Sure, if you're a 10 year old sped at some school where people make fun of you, I understand. Maybe you haven't matured to a level of self awareness, or haven't learned how to fit in, and ultimately you can be forced into a situation where people hurl abuse at you, and you may not have much of a choice. But if you're a grown. fucking. adult. you can:
  1. listen to and accept criticism
  2. stop being a sperg
  3. ignore people and get the fuck over it
  4. move and leave your past behind
  5. don't post every thought that enters your mind on the Internet in an identifiable way
These retards think they have some right where other people can't make fun of them. I have no sympathy for these types. Indeed, many KF users would be lolcows in their own right if they didn't realize the points listed above.

This isn't exactly true. The list of psychotropic drugs actually banned in Japan is very small, with the most prominent one being Adderall. Most of the rest of the standard depression/ADHD medications (Zoloft, Prozac, Wellbutrin, Lamictal, Concerta, Vyvanse, etc.) are legal and have been for years. As far back as 2012, I can remember one of my Japanese friends' kids being prescribed Prozac and Concerta for ASD.

The reason she was able to get these medications for her daughter was because she advocated for her and worked tirelessly to find a doctor who would provide psychiatric treatment that was in line with Western standards. Someone with 12m yen sitting in a bank account would have the resources to obtain treatment from an English-speaking expat psychiatrist, several of whom have private practices in the Tokyo area. If Byuu's current treatment wasn't working for him, he had a lot more options than just "SSRIs or suicide."
