They could promote real passionate crime content creators like Jim Can't Swim - who then throw a fucking shitfit if Youtube nonsense rules strike their videos down or demonetize something. Or they could just let the slop factories work the algorithm. The slop factories don't get their panties in a bunch if Youtube arbitrarily decides to take their videos down. They just start new videos. And really I'm assuming a lot thinking they care.
If I were Susan Wojicki or the new Indian Guy Null hates I would just be shitty as them. I would happily approve countless AI Generated Pajeet Channels that never tried to start stupid movements or whined "YOUTUBE IS DYING WE NEED TO STOP PLAGARISM" Plagiarize this, "Eat shit."
People seem to forget that YouTube is global. So you assume stuff like Jim Can't Swim is the best khantent there is out there but people miss the forest for the trees. As a % English language speaking countries are not the dominant users of the internet anymore:

Sure you'll get people who watch Jim Can't Swim with subtitles but when it comes down to numbers, the non-English countries totally outnumber the USA and other English speaking countries. And sure a channel like Jim Can't Swim might get however many views, but in terms of customer base there's a lot more out there besides the USA.
And sure - those 3rd world countries don't spend money like Amricans do, but they have advertisements and they pay for premium features (at much cheaper rates).
What's better? 1 million Americans paying $10 a month for YouTube premium or 11 million Indians paying $2 a month for the same thing?
The USA and western countries are basically completely saturated with content and advertisements leaving much less opportunity whereas emerging markets (3rd world countries) have may more opportunity to become the dominant player (that doesn't just apply to YouTube itself but advertisers, khantent creators etc)
TLDR: in an ideal world "passionate khantent creators" would get absolute priority, but YouTube/Google are an exploitive business, so they are going to focus their efforts on what gets the most dollars.

Been running Adblocker since I can remember. I do not even know when the last time was I saw an add anywhere online. No Pajeet will earn a cent from me click on a slop video.
Youtube and Google can straight up go fuck themselves, the day they manage to technically enforce adblock bans on me is the day I will stop using Youtube.
And join the lawsuit against Google for violating my privacy by using invasive cookies and other software to find out if I use an adblocker.
I am really hoping for someone to write an adblock script that makes Youtube think I am watching the ads all the way every time, while still blocking them.
That way they would have to pay creators for ads I never see.
I hear people say this kind of shit a lot but TBH as shit as it sounds, you're part of the problem. If you truly hate YouTube then start using other alternatives already. The reason why most alternatives don't have a lot of standing is because not enough people use them in the first place.
Not paying YouTube doesn't matter for shit - most users do not have the technical ability/knowledge to install adblockers or even care that much. I pay for YouTube premium because $10 or whatever it is a small price to pay for not having to inconvenience myself with ad bullshit (and I already have adblockers installed) and I also use their music feature sometimes.
Whether you pay or not all the advertiser dollars are going towards YouTube already. If 1-10% of people are totally blocking ads it really doesn't matter to YouTube's bottom line. I mean I still respect you for sticking to your beliefs, I'm just saying it doesn't matter - you're still giving YouTube business by "consuming" the products that they host.
