Apparently diabetic piss is supposed to be super sweet and since all you really need to make wine is yeast and sugar, could you just add yeast to it and make a proper wine?

Here, they simply extract the sugar from the piss and add it to a single malt. It's closer than anyone else has done that I know of, but it's not quite what OP described either.
Wait so if all you need to make wine is to just extract the sugar and add it to yeast, then it should be possible to make wine by extracting sugar from diabetic stool. Here, they simply extract the sugar from the piss and add it to a single malt. Not quite. Yeast doesn't "just need sugar", yeast needs a substrate with amino acids, micronutrients, etc. Stool is full of bacteria, additionally. Maybe if you autoclaved stool first, but sugars don't pass through the intestines, as all the bacteria there will ferment it away. That said, sterilized stool might just provide the nutrient base that isolated piss sugars lack.
