TL;DR: Airsoft is gay, and the people who play it are even gayer.
I will update this OP in the future to reflect the totality of the situation better.
A friend of Chase has entered this thread (and summarily took to shitting it up after pretending to be disconnected for one post) on his behalf @ItttttsssSOUP starting here, eventually showing proof that Chase was not responsible for the theft of the plates, arguing that Chase was not responsible for damage to the vehicle, but yielding that Chase did leave the note that drove all of the Sonichu subreddit to harass Airsoft Al.

It had appeared that he stole Christian's license plates, peppered his car with an airsoft gun, bragged about it on /b/, and tried to frame an autistic homosexual from Tennessee who goes by Airsoft Al.
He hates Airsoft Al because they used to be in a discord community together with fellow airsoft autists. See this post for archives of him harassing Airsoft Al five months ago with a fake Terry Davis profile on instagram, and an hour-long YouTube video on a sock account where he and the other members of the community recorded a discord voice call roast of Al, convincing Al he was a criminal because he had lolicon hentai on a Google drive. The call ends with them all running off when they bully Al to the point where he has a gun in his hand and is suicidal.
The gentleman bounces back and forth regularly competing in Maryland and Pennsylvania, which are much easier drives to Chris's motel than Tennessee.

Al is clearly a lolcalf in and of himself, being openly autistic, homosexual, hardcore libertarian, and a victim of child rape himself. It was very, very easy to believe that Al was the perpetrator, as he fit the bill of what you'd expect perfectly, but he pointed out that he's in Tennessee, doesn't have a driver's license, and wouldn't leave without full MOPP gear due to COVID.
This video Al uploaded to his YouTube was too delicious, and it made me investigate his Instagram, where everything on Chase Lopez started to unfold.
