I think it's harder and easier at the same time to find things. You have to go out of your way to look for deviant tags like #pregnancy kink and you'll find lots of content that's all pretty much the same without any being particularly lulzworthy enough to post here. User-user interaction is also a lot more stifled than Twitter or Tumblr.

360k of 400k went into their wages. That's incredible. One one hand, hats off for milking the VC morons, on the other, this is the least elegant and sophisticated way to do this. They are litterally bragging to the public they embezzled 90% of the funds that were supposed to run the website.

Any normal company would fire that retard who did no work for 6 months, sucking money, but I have a feeling cohost is entirely funded by VC money, so cohost founders give zero fucks (it's not their money and they are complicit in pulling it out from cohost in the same way). The VCs that gave them the money are also retarded 1) for putting money in this shitshow of a website and 2) for not being able to eradicate these lazy commie fucks and take over the company. Cohost as an idea is not great, but not terrible either, so if it was staffed with competent developers it could work as a niche alternative social medium. And probably be out of the red too.

I'm too retarded to make heads or tails of it, but some of the comments are funny:

I understand people have health issues, but again, this is a combination of oversharing personal details and extreme mismanagement. Even with a team this small, you have got to have a backup plan if someone is out of commission. More than one person needs to be able to do these reports. And as of the time I am writing this, there's still not a backup person to write these reports.

So it's at this point I want to just flat out say this: I truly believe that they deliberately picked financial updates to push out when the numbers looked their best, then went silent again until they either had more decent numbers or were in such bad shape they couldn't avoid it anymore. Can I prove that? No. Do I believe it? Absolutely. Because they seemed to be able to get updates out real snappy when the numbers were better than average. Otherwise we just seem to get them when things are so bad they can't put off telling people anymore. And I think the next update might highlight that as well.

But the key part of this section is: they have no idea where their funder is.

Their only source of funding is missing. They can't contact them, and haven't been in contact with them for over a month. I have no idea if they have mutual friends who could have contacted them, I have no idea if they've done any kind of wellness check, but what we know is that their funder and long time friend is totally missing, not possible to contact, and they aren't sure whether they're even alive or dead. Unlike the last no-payroll scare, there isn't a quick solution to getting more money in the bank.

I just wanted to add to my previous post - ASSC is a not-for-profit company which means their primary goal is not making profit (as the name states). But they are literally burning money on everything but running the website. They would have more time left if they fired all people from that company and set the hosting bill to be automatically paid. The 90% going to their pockets that I mentioned could be due to their greed/stupidity but if the money was given with a purpose (eg. to run the "website") then a good lawyer could make this an actual embezzlement case.

I really want to know what happened to the founder. Maybe he saw what dorks they are and blocked their number. If I gave $400k of VC funding to digital bums who spent most of it on their personal expenses, I'd skip town out of shame too.
