I suspect it’s the crazy moderator*. It feels way more personal than the real Melissa Morgue thing. Melissa’s sperging was about the CG # and Yaboi Zack, this guy focuses only on Zack & friends.

Don't feel too bad for missing most of the goss about this - I didn't even know there was a Facebook admin who sperged out when Zach turned him down. When did this happen? And what happened exactly? (Obviously that last question isn't directed at you, unless you have digged up the goss now.)

CmxAndDiversity - Whose gimmick was to scavenge anything that had D&C or his fan's name on it that might be considered harassment. It failed hard and had to resort to using the Youtube comment section.

MoveTheNeedie (with an uppercase 'i', not 'L') - Because their previous account never had any engagement from the people it would try and bait this account was spawned. When D&C created #MoveTheNeedle to promote the comics he and other Youtubers recommend, this account would basically tries to paint that as a negative.

Again I can’t confirm if any of this is true yet. I’ve heard multiple theories on it from it being Michelle to the original Morgue (Martin) coming back , even theories that multiple people ran the OG Melissa Morgue account and this was one of them. Just another little footnote in the Morgue Saga.

Imo writers and artists should be able to create a comic however they want. There's no comic rule book, dammit. There shouldn't be a right or wrong way to comic.

However...

The issue is with Marvel handing the reins of beloved IP over to massive sjw spergs with little to no experience. Turning well established characters into husks which they fill with leftist tropes. That's where Ya Boi is right to argue about writing, editing, art, and sales numbers.

An artist can create whatever they want...until they need it to be a product. Something to generate revenue and provide a support stream for their endeavors. Then they have to be providing the product the consumer is looking for or they will fail. They can not dictate to the customer “this is what you must like or want”, which is pretty much the heart and soul of what SJW Marvel and the milkshake crew tried to do.

And do note there is a reason why “starving artist” has been a societal cliche for centuries. Artists are remarkably bad at understanding that rule. Modern comic fans often criticize the relationship between Stan Lee and Jack ?Kirby, white knighting for Kirby. Never grasping that while Kirby may arguably be one of the greatest American Artists, with a unique and compelling style. He was also horribly incapable of putting a product in front of the public that they were willing to pay for, when left to his own management. Lee turned his art into product. Got him drawing what the customers wanted and paid money for hand over Fist.

Since they know they're not making more money this way, I can only conclude that they're purposefully trying to destroy their own industry.

They aren’t all creators, that guy is a “““journalist”””. The guy that has Melissa Morgue’s article still live on his website and he hasn’t put up a disclaimer or anything about the author being a lunatic who made up the MM persona just to autistically screech at a # on Twitter.

DC Superhero Girls exists just to sell dolls. It was schemed up by Mattel because they knew they were going to lose the Disney Princess license. Since DC doesn't have a lot of well known female characters, villains get rebranded into uwu true and honest good girls.

D&C briefly mentioned that a German guy that was admin for a Facebook group declared that he was in love with him, D&C rebuffed him and the German guy turned on D&C but I can't remember what he retaliated with. The guy was apparently acting unhinged, though.

Whichever side is the source of the money. It really is that simple. The comic fans may be fat neckbeards. But all the money in the industry originates with those fat neckbeards. You either deliver what they want or you don’t get paid. This is known as Market Forces.
