You know she launched it just to compete with DnC and EVS because Spike Trotman has salty tears. She’s retweeting every nonsensical goal she hits for wow factor except her rate of subs is far below both DnC and EVS. She’ll also make 1/5 what they took in.

I looked at the “art”, holy moly it’s all terrible and the writing is boring. She’s making money off the woke crowd that would read shit smeared toilet paper if a minority made it.

Now that I think about it, Heather Antos got inflicted on us by being involved in a terrible, kickstarted comic anthology before being hired at Marvel...

I remember a rule regarding comics: If you have bad art, you need good writing. If you have bad writing, you need good art.

This has neither, but they apparently found a shortcut by taking advantage of gullible cultists. Which would be fine if they'd stop trying to change the industry to make them more important than they are. The internet effectively destroyed the press and may very well destroy comic publishers, largely because you really don't need a publisher to reach someone anymore. You just need a community of people -- shame pockets of those communities can't leave each other well enough alone and become tribes. So as long as they continue their bickering the publishers still hold.

I was having a discussion about it the other day. It was about how most of the types who espouse about their genders/race are always people that make those identifiers look terrible. Whenever one of the Milkshake girls says something fucking exceptional, my female friend starts ranting about how it makes women in comics look like dumb idiots who aren’t interested in the medium. Fucking Gabby was a complete embarrassment for Latino comic fans. That fat lesbian was their representation, I damn near laughed my ass off at how mortified they were.

Always chuckle when I remember Kwanza once arguing that people don't like his comic because "I'm black and people don't like me" is "intellectually challenging" as a premise and comic readers just can't handle the high level of thought that goes into a story about black people facing segregation level discrimination.

I would think that's low hanging fruit but maybe I'm not an intellectual. Maybe it's like how mega-corporations and celebrities are "#Woke"
