Right now Kyle makes Donal "Cuck" Delay look like a fulfillment machine. At least about 12 people or so got their copies of Brutas.

How low is the bar that people are expected to wait an extra 7-9 months because Kyle "stalled out for some reason" with a finished book in hand?

From what I can assume is Kyle fucked up huge somewhere along the line, probably by spending all the money like Mitch and Donal did and the project failed.

Since he's Ethans colorist, Kyle's failure will hurt Cyberfrog and future Frog comic sales so he begged Ethan for a bailout which EVS either wrote off as a business expense -most likely- or took it out of Kyle's pay.

Kyle never made much money before and it's highly likely he fucked up on his taxes and that's why his comic IGG failed. Enter ALL CAPS. If you're so retarded you end up sucking off more qoq behind the pizza dumpster than you can swallow there's always a loan shark in jersey you can trust. Sleazy E's house of pies. Where the chocolate pie is preferred but the cream pies are free.

It's the only rational explanation for holding your dick for 7 months on a finished book. Just look how MATI Ethan got when I verbally wrecked his booty buddy for pulling this shit.

It's a bad look when the guy who made fun of people mourning 9-11 victims and turned GI Joe into a homoerotic freak show comes out looking not only better than you, but more sympathetic to your customers. Aubrey Sitterson just might have a future in a post SJW comics world after CG crowdfunding collapses from repeated, and I'm coining a term here, "Breitweisering" their projects.

The absolute only reason Kyle isn't getting raked over the coals for sitting on his year late book for an extra seven months after it's finished is because he's in the EVS circle of protection.

Turning an 1yr wait into an 18mnth wait when the book is completed is pure bullshit. Thanks for letting us know about that @FROG ,

On the subject of nerds, geeks and dorks, I agree that comics people are dorks, however a dork is not a nerd or a geek, or a combined nerd-geek.

Nerd or geek connotes having some kind of valuable, useful knowledge.

You cannot be a comics nerd or Star Wars geek, you can only be a comics dork or a Star Wars dork, because knowledge of comics or Star Wars has no value.

It's not like a programmer (geek) or historian (nerd) where valuable knowledge can be attained, giving one the status of geek or nerd.

Knowing more and more about Star Wars or comics only makes you more and more of a dork, you can never become a nerd or geek from learning about these things. You can only become more of a dork.

I explained what happened with Starblades already. Looks like Kyle got taxed, and also spent about $40k of his then $175k campaign (as is his right, for producing 60 pages of penciled, inked, colored and lettered art.) He had the rest of the money when I asked and delivered us a check just shy of 6 figures when called upon. The check cleared.

Even if it hadn’t, and he was completely broke, I would have considered some kind of arrangement where we overprint the books, sell them, and I keep 100% of the profits to pay us back for the money we laid out, because the book is that good.

But Kyle held on to the printing and fulfillment money like a champ.

Of all things to be mad at EVS about, fixing the Stalled Starblades production is one of them? Kyle is extremely overweight and survived Covid. I think he gets a pass to an extent, especially since he held onto the money. I didn't back Starblades though, so looking at the opinions that do matter on the campaign page reveals a good amount of positive comments with the latest update.

Is lowercase lettering the bisexual lighting of lettering?

5 months. Can't explain that, except that people often delay dealing with complicated problems. He's a deaf mute trying by himself to get a comic book published for the first time. In the meantime, he's occupying himself with the demand on his time for art and colors...it just got away from him.

I think he was waiting to get up the nerve to ask me to publish it for him.

In any case, it's a great looking book and it's getting printed and fulfilled now.
