He called TFM and G&G grifters who dropped to their knees as soon as they were in sniffing distance of Zack Snyder. I got a chuckle out of that.

I'll give EVS that he at least is making something, even if its always late for years, while the Nerdrotic grifting crew is doing same shit every week for years. Like, how many times can you talk about star wars and how comics suck. Yea, every normal person knows this shit. And then you see the $500 superchat saying something like ''Yes Gary, you are just like me, they took all these stuff from us. Thank you for saying this.''.... Pathetic.

LIAM GRAY & OZ ART CREATIONS FRAUD UPDATE:

They both are getting the help of what's left in #WASCAMPAIGN to distract from the fact they flat out are lying about sending Xenotype and the 150 USD tier of Oz's Koala pins. They are still claiming it was sent to Wiggle Wiggle's PO BOX.

The problem is, Wiggles IGG info does not have ANY PO BOX, SUITE number, ect. He lives in a house. He has never had this problem getting anything sent to him from other IGG Creators but LIAM GRAY and OZ ART CREATIONS. Here is Liam again claiming the information that has been presented is "PHOTOSHOPPED".

I do not have the exact timestamp but during this LIAM GRAY meltdown stream, he flat out admits the products were not sent to Wiggle Wiggle because he thinks those transactions were "GAY-OPS"

I should write him into Three Cunts and a Gorilla as the "Minister Next Door." Plenty of potential for wacky adventures there.

Dammit, that was a stupid take. I bet you that most women can add more to a comicbook than Mycah Curtis ever will...

But, there are women who will use thirst as a means to get to do what they want to do regardless of talent, and when they are told "no" they will melt down like MechaRandom42 did. Because Tom said no to the hot chick in a leather jacket

Damn, this is tragic!

Engagement percentage doesn't matter.
It does when measuring the effectiveness of channel format approach, which was your initial claim. If Jon Malin hosting the JACK show can get more viewers on his 8K subscriber channel then a 2.2 million subscriber channel, showing whatever the fuck the JACK show is is definitely the way to go.

In any case, nobody really thinks Jon Malin was criticizing the sort of tightly run, extremely informative livestreamed drawing classes that David Finch or Proko are putting out. What Malin was referring to were these kinds of drawstreams of the Smillerian variety. Ones where it's someone livestreaming their working day bent over an easel while semi-engaged to the small chat while rattling off over whatever comes to mind in their heads in a stream of conscious manner.

Interesting how few viewers Malin's CG Presents tends to get. Given that Malin is the de facto second-in-command of CG and his platform should theoretically be the second largest for shilling your comics. So, is it that most people in CG really don't give a shit about backing indie books and just want to tune for humor and personality (of which Malin provides neither)? Who knows.

This EVS stream is funny. It feels like the farms is influencing him more and more.
I'm telling ya, he eventually recognized that the criticism here about Zack is on point. That we weren't being mean just for the for the sake of being mean.

I gotta tip my hat to him on that. He appreciates the brutal honesty of KF, as I have come to. I'd like to think I played a small role in that. Especially when I talked to him about this on Ryzie's stream.

Very sad day for Manga fans today.

But at least he got them off the fucking boat...

Time for another Comicsgate News Update

FROM CREATORGO
The latest data from CreatorGo has the current amount of CG books launched in 2021 listed at 90, not including the removed failures found below. Most curiously this number matches the number from our previous weekly update which indicates that perhaps the glut of comic books launching in the first third of the year has finally slowed down. None of our previously mentioned "Campaign's to Watch" have been funded, while two comics (Wulfsbane and Skipt) join the CG graveyard.

Previous Failures
The Current Plane Comic #1

Pillowman and Blanketboy Comic-- Second Chance!
KINETIC
Cross Comics coloring book
Melvin #1
Everlasting Survivors Volume 1 Graphic Novel
The Tome Of Reckoning
Chateau Obsidian #3
EVERMATTER: Conscript

The Oswald Chronicles: My Time With Clive 1-4
Zener: Master of the Mind Vol 1
Wahid 2: Dawn of Evil (taken down)
Hexwood: Dust and Ashes

Updated Failures
Wulfsbane- Issue 1

Skipt - Seeds of Power

Campaigns To Watch
Rammur 1
Vestri 3
Havoc 2
Angel's Awakening
Hybrids: The Killing Field Part 1 & 2

There's not much to report on CreatorGo, other than the two recent failures and perhaps a much needed slowdown in new projects to give some of the older projects a chance to improve.

FROM INDIEGOGO
One of the unloved campaigns on our list Rammur #1 comes from industry veteran Charles Santino, who previously worked for Marvel, Fantagraphics and Dark Horse on a variety of properties including Conan. Charles recently sat down with VikkiVerse and DA Talks to talk about his career and Rammur, which will be featured in our Youtube section below.

Jon Malin recently posted an update informing his backers that Graveyard Shift 3 should begin fulfillment in 2-3 weeks, barring no delays. Jon also announced a mailing list for a new property called PROJECT THUNDAAR which appears to be a sci-fi comic described as "Star Wars meets John Carter meets Jack Kirby's Fourth World."

Update

Those who backed Red Rooster may have noticed that their inbox was graced by Allegiance Arts announcing the launch of their next book "The Saints" on May 25th on Indiegogo. The book will feature the writing talent of Mike Baron and follow a disgraced Archaeologist's adventure across the globe in an Illuminati inspired story. Now that Red Rooster is in fulfillment, we will have to wait and see if thousands of pissed off backers will give Mitch a second chance.

FROM THE TWITTERVERSE
Comicsgate has been rather dull lately on Twitter, without much excitement, until Mandy Summer's decided to set the movement of thirsty simps alive with a risky photo tweet promoting her 5K celebration stream.

Unfortunately for Comicsgate's dear Southern Belle, not everyone was a fan of Mandy's method of self promotion, with our very own @VIkkiVerse offering her opinion on the tweet.

This was the quote tweet that launched 1000 simp ships as a full Twitter war has exploded between our very own Boudicca and the sultry Summers. The original tweet thread features simps, creators, backers, Comicsgater's and anti-Comicsgate each throwing themselves into battle for their chosen Queen.

Over the sounds of simp swords, clashing against simp shields, we are forced to ask ourselves "Which CG Queen will reign supreme?"

The only mildly interesting other piece of Comicsgate News on Twitter was the unexpected announcement from Piper that she was cancelling her show, that nobody watched anyway.

After recently patching up her friendship with Mandy Summers and the Graded .5 team, it is currently unknown why Piper has decided to cancel her flagship show which featured such entertainment as falling asleep on stream, walking off air and livestreaming an empty chair for 20 minutes and drunken nipple slips. She did inform her followers that they can still expect her appearances on other livestreams and shows within the CG community.

FROM YOUTUBE
VikkiVerse and DA Talks re-streamed their previously postponed stream talking about the choice of art styles on NarZack's 499. At the [40:24] mark they were joined by our very own FROG for his take on the book.

The following CGDG stream focused on the recent Fandom Menace drama involving MechaRandom42 which was appropriately named "MechaTantrum42".

DA Talks and VikkiVerse would then be joined by Well Read User, who had previously ran afoul of Oz Arts Creations as summarized by @Mister Dongs in a recap here. The trio would e-fap a stream of Liam efapping Well Read User's appearance on the eventful Oz Show.

As previously mentioned in our Indiegogo segment, industry veteran Charles Santino joined VikkiVerse and DA Talks for a talk on his career in the comic industry and his latest crowdfunded endeavor Rammur #1 on Indiegogo.

Well Read Reviews returned this time pitting Antonio Brice's Brand against @NasserRabadi13 and @Fathead 's Brutas the Badass. The review was structured as a grudge match between what was described as two of "CG's Old School" books, the regular hosts were joined by VikkiVerse and Wiggle Wiggle as guest reviewers with a guest appearance from @Captain Manning later in the stream.

Brand and Brutas the Badass weren't the only two CG books reviewed this past week, with Dillard Draws reviewing Florida Man by Mike Baron. The review was accompanied with a behind the scenes retelling of the drama that occurred between writer Mike Baron and former artist Todd Mulrooney. The book was plagued with creative differences between the two with allegations of tracing, allegations of stolen art and payment issues.

After previously receiving strikes on his channel, TUG announced his triumphant return to Youtube, by announcing.. more strikes.

Yellowflash reports on the drama between Power Girl co-creator Gerry Conway and the entire weeb world. Conway had previously chastised anime and manga for the sexualization of women in it's media, which has now exposed Japan to the insanity of western comic book creators.

And finally in what was probably the most entertaining Comicsgate stream of the week @NasserRabadi13 hosted DA Talks, Jon Del Arroz/@TheCosmicWarrior and FROG as they went over the MechaRandom42 drama of the past week. During the stream @FROG offered Nasser a writing gig on a potential upcoming project so Nasser could afford to hire an artist on another future project. The mending of Nasser's and FROG's friendship is the feel good story of the week and we wish them both luck on their future collaboration.

Well that was a lot of Youtube videos to catch up on. The big news right now is obviously the implosion occurring in Comicsgate's sister movement, The Fandom Menace. Most of the videos included above report on the drama but I also tried to include some of the lesser known Comicsgate occurrences. Aside from several reviews of Comicsgate books there was the drama that occurred on the most recent Oz Show and the events that followed it. All eyes however should be on VikkiVerse's twitter timeline as the thot wars erupt without mercy and dozens of simps argue among themselves with extreme prejudice.

All in all quite an exciting week for Comicsgate compared to the lull which has occurred over the past few weeks.

As always take care and stay safe out there. :bluelabel:

Like Kentaro Miura, ADMIRAL DOOM is D-E-D

But a present to get over your loss @Captain Manning

This is my book with the most positive reviews and I don't even own a copy.

@FROG is the absolute GOAT. Nobody else comes close.

It does when measuring the effectiveness of channel format approach, which was your initial claim. If Jon Malin hosting the JACK show can get more viewers on his 8K subscriber channel then a 2.2 million subscriber channel, showing whatever the fuck the JACK show is is definitely the way to go.
Okay so following that logic, here's two statements:

Statement A: Malin could improve his pathetic sub count by following Proko's channel format, which has Proko's sub count standing at 2.2m compared to Malin's feeble 0.00863m.

Statement B: Proko could improve his pathetic engagement percentage of 1200 live viewers by ceasing to drawstream, and instead introducing JACK show type streams on his channel, which will vastly boost this relatively poor (by engagement percentage) livestream viewer number of 1200.

Do you think B is the true and correct course of action? I think A sounds more true than B.

In any case, nobody really thinks Jon Malin was criticizing the sort of tightly run, extremely informative livestreamed drawing classes that David Finch or Proko are putting out. In which case he's criticising the drawing aspect of the stream as the problem, instead of the lazy, aimless, boring, unentertaining pointlessness of them as the problem. So he's not pointing to the real problem, like Frog did when he criticised Smiller (rightly) for peppering his incredibly boring, offputting chitterchatter onto a stream of himself with Jason (Nasser's artist on SCP). The point of Frog's criticism was lost a bit there I think, he was making the point that Smiller had great artists doing cool drawings, but his banter/small talk was so brutally lame that it became torturous to watch.

The same was somewhat true of Doug T, but the art skills made up for it with him at least. Sometimes I did have to mute him, admittedly, and put some music on. But Doug also had lots of occasional interesting little moments in his banter, whereas Smiller's moments are sadly few and far between indeed.

Those are astonishingly good sales numbers, considering what a bunch of boring bastards with shit comics on a shit stream they all are* (*imho)

Have at least some CG aligned creators basically thrown in the towel on trying to make money or am I just missing something? This campaign claims to have already spent over ten thousand dollars even BEFORE going live on IGG. (I think? The wording is admittedly a bit wonky. As in, who the hell would "finance" this in an outside investor sense?). Link / Archive

What's up with the $500 Campaign Goal?

The budget for pencils, inks, colors and letters for 75 interior comic book pages and multiple cover/splash images is well in excess of ten thousands [sic] dollars. Fortunately the production has already been financed and completed. [emphasis added]

Your campaign dollars will go to printing, shipping and the production of more BLACK TIGER comic books!

The $500 "flexible goal" wouldn't have even covered postage, would it?

The first book in this series only raised a little under $6,000. Assuming similar production costs, is it unreasonable to assume the creators LOST around $4,000 on that one? And have now gone back to the well, setting themselves up to lose a similar amount, or even more, here?

As an aside, do these two campaigns get counted as ComicsGate "successes?" I mean, they met their funding goals. Just that the goal was (apparently) far below any kind of reasonable break-even figure.

Personally, nothing against a vanity project, if you got the $$$ and wanna spend it, you do you. And I guess since there's still 30-ish days to go, perhaps they will cover their costs. Unlikely, but possible. But EVS and YBZ seem to disdain such things, at least when carried out by SJWs.

In any event, I do hope the mass of CG creators in the USA deliberately setting IGG goals well below any kind of reasonable break-even understand the IRS Hobby Loss rule when it comes time to do their taxes. Two years of losses you can get away with, but if you're still showing losses in year 3 you better be able to explain to IRS that, yes, you are in fact running a legitimate business with a reasonable path to profitability.

Sorry if I'm being an off-topic sperg, but I find this element of CG to be endlessly diverting. And one that doesn't get much attention.

no and neither did Harrison Ford, both of whom several anti cgers contacted in an effort to see that happen. Both Disney and Ford recognized the book for what it is, a lame parody.
"So you're saying you want to make a parody comic in which you portray yourselves as basement-dwelling obsessed stalkers who commit a felony against a known public figure, and this is somehow a critique of us? Sure bud, go right ahead."
- Mickey Mouse

It's my understanding Ford gives exactly zero fucks about Star Wars anymore, and specifically demanded Solo be killed off so he could continue to not give a fuck. Or did I hear wrong?

GOAT= Gayest of all time.

Nobody even comes close to sucking as many qoqs behind the pizza parlour.
I ain't saying people can't poke Ethan. Be my guest. I've done it on occasion.

But I always found it funny that some people continue to have such a massive hate boner for Ethan in this very target rich environment. There's some awfully big targets orbiting CG. Many of which have been very active lately.

Honestly I was just making a joke. This is one of the few threads where cows are sacred and poking fun at them or their coat tail riding sycophants is met with hostility.

I know I strayed away from the current topic of laughing at e-thots but I've been doing that for a year. Mandy Summers posts a bikini pic and suddenly the thirsty simps are out in force.

We've seen our girl Boudicia in a bikini too. Gotta say I'd rather chill with her, smoke a blunt and eat spaghetti than risk catching aids from one of these burbank skanks.

If you're here to tell Ethan how much you love him take that shit to twitter its not funny. You might as well say "dear Ethan, I wrote you but you still ain't callin"

If you're here to tell Ethan how much you love him take that shit to twitter its not funny.
It's not supposed to be funny. I am not looking to say that. Nor could I if I wanted to, since he's been off site for quite a while now. He has apparently been off doing livestreams where he's been discussing much the same thing we are, and reaching much the same conclusion as we are.

This is one of the few threads where cows are sacred and poking fun at them or their coat tail riding sycophants is met with hostility.
Ethan has not been designated a cow, he's a KF user the same as the rest of us, and this ain't his thread. That's probably what you're continually missing in all this.

I don't remember if he wanted solo killed but you are right that he doesn't give a damn about Star Wars anymore.

The story I've been told my whole life is that Ford has been pushing for Solo to be killed since Empire Strikes Back. Lucas it seems didn't agree because killing off one of your most popular characters is bad for business. This was something Disney didn't seem to care about with where they wanted to take Star Wars, so they were happy to oblige his request.
