They don't think it's hypocrisy, double standards are just and fair to them because that means the side that has unjustly sinned without consequence throughout history is finally being punished, getting it's just due, whatever you call it. They literally see no problem with stacking the deck against people because of politics, "Those" people deserve to lose and "see how it feels", which is why they have gone extra-ballistic in the last 3 years.

It just occurred to me, if they want to use comics to sperg about white supremacy then why not bring back the Ultimate universe for a series about that? We haven't seen much of that world since the line ended but as far as we're aware eastern Europe is still mostly frozen over and western Europe is a nuclear wasteland from their big events. This means North America contains most of the remaining European descendants which would cause an existinial crisis for a big white supremacy movement for the recently returned heroes to deal with.

It's an interesting idea and would be a logical progression. Would be interesting to explore the implications of that scenario. I don't even know how you can deal with that problem but it'd make both the reader and writer think about tough questions.

The original Ultimates were actually reserected by Ultimate Reed Richards a while back as mind controlled lackies. After they stopped being his puppets, they left to try chasing him down. We have no idea what came of that but we do know they made it back home and (Ultimate) Peter Parker seemed to have joined them.

Still, I think that premise would be more "intellectually challenging" when it comes to bigotry then "REE Trump". It is reasonable for the setting and I guess you could draw parallels to war torn parts of the world. I know their world view is American-centric but it seems like an interesting challenge if they legit cared. You have a whole continent that's an unlivable irradited mess, there'd be so many questions on how you go about fixing such a thing and exploring that kind of paranoia.

They don't really want to challenge readers, they want them to eat anything that they're given, because it's good for them.

One thing I've noted repeatedly is that these spergs can't get 100 RTs on anything they say. Not a single one has any engagement and none of them are funny or clever.

So I'm having a hard time deciding who exactly i should try to archive into this thread due to the level of daily nonsense that occurs, big players / pros - sure easy enough to identify, 2nd tier players, hangers on, sock-puppets / straw-manning accounts... the list seems endless and tireless.

I'm thinking 1st and 2nd tier is probably for the best, but where are the cutoff points? i.e. Kwanza is a 'pro' but goes on idiotic tirades that maybe should be highlighted, but it's just him yelling into a void (obviously black AF) with no engagement or blocks if challenged.
But then you get the fantastic lowest rung people i.e 'SJWspiderman' who apparently DM'd tons of Zacks followers trying to get one to respond, so they could blame Ya boi for fan thoughts and all of lifes evils - (sock-puppet frothing at the mouth autism).
I will say at least the comicsgate side seems to try to engage the opposition more, or until the point that the other person is obviously straw-manning (ya boi Zack often goes on way too long with these idiots)
I've been watching comicsgate unfold and lurking for a while now and also don't want to spam the thread with low level shit tier posts. I would like to throw some funny stuff too, but keep thinking it should wait until a slow day (if that ever occurs) @damian I salute your effort to chronicle this huge mess

This hypothetical plot already requires even the most minor of consideration that the designated bad guys might have legitimate concerns, which is heresy. The villains of a story can never, ever, ever be used to provoke thought or self-examination in the righteous readers.

Both the wedding issues seem to go: long time fan ship, build up, approach, fake-out, wedding cancelled; we can't marry as it will change us, secondary characters proposing / married same day
To me it seems they are trying Antz / Bugs life, Dante's peak / Volcano, Armageddon / Deep impact style scripts, the style that's similar to when you copied your friends at school and changed a few words each sentence and called it a day.

DC had been repairing their rep with Rebirth under Geoff Jonhs, now that he left it’s mainly Didio and Lee who are running the direction of the company. A friend of mine is assblasted about the Batman wedding and didn’t understand why DC would copy Marvel, I only had to show him this and he then started sperging about N52:
