His response to get off Twitter and focus on self-publishing is unique and commendable, regardless the results. I used to wonder why he held Hama's GI Joe in such high regard. I'm not saying it's terrible, really. Some of the stuff was pretty good, especially for a licensed book and a damn sight better than pretty much any other 80s toy tie-in (which isn't saying a lot). But Zack puts that shit up on a pedestal and I just never got why. Then I realized it's because he has both exceedingly terrible taste in entertainment and a supremely disturbing fetish for anything to do with the military.

And didn't he claim he wanted to write a Conan story at one point? I'd be very surprised if he actually ever read any of the Howard stories.

Oh he gets internet drama alright, he built his platform off of it! He went over all the major SJW's activities on social media and spent most of his time pointing and laughing. It was great! But then he stopped calling Visaggio a "man in a wig" when the progressives(frogressives?) leaned in on him. Maybe the signs were there all along. Being a pretentious cornball doesn't happen because you get backed into a corner, it happens when your ego adapts poorly to success you're not prepared for. GI Joe fans are fucking weird and autistic, but have unfortunately dwindled to such a small community it's a waste to even make a thread about them. Almost all of them seem to revere the Hama comics as some sort of holy grail of military fiction and act like complete children whenever you bring up something else. Richard joined the military because he wanted to shoot at the bad guys and blow shit up like on the TV. With his apparently massive anger problems and a steady diet of action movies and GI Joe comics, joining up was probably a wet dream for him like a guy that watches too many kung-fu movies going a karate class. It does not surprise me in the least to see he's one of those guys that gets out of the service and chooses to keep a regulation haircut.

He has shown his daughter and we can hear his son in some of early videos. Also he never denied being in Charlottesville during the rally. He just said that he didn’t participate in it and that he was in Charlottesville for other business and just like those two links that autisticly lead to the same Reddit post, there is no evidence to prove otherwise,

Richard was in Charlottesville because he was heading home from visiting relatives. He stopped in Charlottesville along the way home to see the "shitshow", as he put it. While there, he bought some Black Panther comics that he gave to some tiki-torchers. He recorded video of this at the time.

As far as his family/children, there has been plenty of evidence that he provided years ago. With his deletion of old material, it may no longer be available. I'm not autistic enough to go looking for it, myself. There are others here who are and would be able to pull such information much quicker than I could.

This is all assuming that you are approaching this with honest intentions to get an explanation of things. All evidence I have seen of your intentions indicates otherwise. I also remember when GI Joe was a popular book. The stories were a lot more complex than the ones they were running on the show (imagine how much better that show would have been if they were doing the Marvel stories) and it was right in that 80s action sweet spot with ninjas, explosions, robots and all that good shit. I get it.

LIke I said, the Hama Joe run was some good, solid fun. What I don't get is Zack holding it up as some pinnacle of comic storytelling to the point where almost everything he writes is some kind of homage/ripoff of the concept. Going into the military and getting roasted by your CO for larping as a Joe character with live ammo is totally retarded.
