Look, "Nice Guy Doug" is a very thin facade. You need to read between his indignant denials and threats to find out what really happened back then.

I'm surprised by Betty's sock puppet account, but that seems defensive and further evidence that Doug was off the reservation, and the Breitweisers wanted help. Why would the Breitweisers of all people pull something so desperate for no reason, if not because they'd be threatened by Ernst?

As for booting him from the chat, I guess that was Cecil who blocked Doug. Cecil is Kelsey's friend, and was probably following all of this straight from Kelsey before I even heard about it. But I'll definitely believe Kelsey before any of these other characters.

That doesn't seem like nothing for a first time creator being run down by a popular CG personality.

I am saying Mitch is untrustworthy
Hutt is possibly more untrustworthy (but at least as untrustworthy)
And Doug handed his salt about you and your Cadre to Hutt to do with.

And the stuff you are trying to construe out of your DMs with Doug seems FAR MORE REASONABLE than what Doug posted on Twitter himself.

So this seems like nothing Drama to distract from IDK actual comic books. And at least Doug is making good quality products on time. Something of the people attacking him in this thread only JDA can say he has done with consistency

Also SURE IS WEIRD how this new Mitch Drama came out after Mitch's attempt to have YBZ try to rehab his reputation failed (and your attempts to rehab his reputation arent going any better)

I dunno if I'd say JDA's books are consistently "good quality" but otherwise I'd have to agree.

Uh, because Mitch Breitweiser is a lying grifting faggot? Dark Doug aside, holding Mitch to the standard of an ethical human being is just going obfuscate things.

We're talking about someone who didn't get work since 2013 that all the sudden began cranking out God-Emperor Trump art during the height of 2016 MAGA season and once he got the first predictable response from a blue checkmark, began to cry cancelled to anyone who would listen that his "open conservatism" was the reason he wasn't getting work anymore, It wasn't because of the stated reasons his peers gave about his poor work ethic or chronic inability to meet deadlines.

Once milking other people's audiences to the tune of hundreds of thousands of dollars, Mitch went on to never mention Trump or politics again, disavowed Comicsgate to the press as "extremist", placing his backers he built his business on on the absolute last priority and took 3.5 years to finish his one (1) comic book. Work ethic and chronic inability to meet deadlines in other words.
