Darkgrift Comics had a stream tonight with the slum lords (J dolla, Fin, Well Read, Ryzie, and others) and they sacrificed Fowler to the corn.

Fowler has been banished from CG.
Of course he has! He was a subject of CG. It is a crime for subjects of CG to have independent thoughts that go against the  state's kangz narrative and to possess an unsmooth brain. The punishments being either you are forced into a CG reeducation livestream to grovel before the kangz or banishment.

did he say why?
Looks like they wanted him to delete a tweet, I'm not sure if he said which one or not.

What does being banished from slumtown CG even mean? Are they going to not let Matthew Fowler join streams that have less than 20 live viewers anymore? Take Fowler's weed and booze away and stop him from revolving in and out of the criminal justice system for petty crimes like most of the denizens of the CG slums do? Inquiring minds wish to know.

Edit - Latest shadowbanned books. Google hasn't refreshed yet so they're still searchable for now until the next sweep.

CG Vacation by Zaid Studios
Beckoned: Recourse by Zade Studios (different guys)
Shotgun Samurai Legends by Quaff / Donkey Madness
Aquila of the Phoenix Guard #1 - Nightmare Fuel by Aardvark
MAVERIX v2: Judgment of Doom by Noah MacTutus

@FROG What was the tweet they wanted deleted
It was me talking about the Parental Rights Act last March, and talking about how teachers "expressing their sexuality to little kids" shouldn't be something that Disney condones or advocates. I called it grooming.

It wasn't really out of the ordinary in language or harshness from any other thing I've tweeted or spoken on this topic, but it was a reply to someone else's tweet, so perhaps they reported me. I don't know.

I wish I hadn't deleted it.

But the issue for me wasn't deleting a year old tweet. It would have been the start of Patreon investigating my social media for more things they didn't approve of. The Patreon money definitely helps pay some bills, but I can't have them looking over my shoulder.

What's gonna happen (and is happening) is they're gonna smear Fowler as a vimp and/or wascampaign for daring to raise a hand against FROG and CG. Obviously that's the only reason why anyone would ever conclude that Gemshock is a rip off and Mandy is a stupid vapid bitch. It can't possibly be that Gemshock is a rip off and Mandy is a stupid vapid bitch.

I would feel bad for Fowler here, but the truth of the matter is the kid appears to have had a genuine "come to Jesus" moment, and now he can go do something more constructive with his life. I think it's a net positive for him in the long run.

I had a similar issue happen to me back in 2021. I, and a bunch of other people, got fed up with Testefy's bullshit claims that Stu was a pedo, and the narrative that made the rounds was that Vikki "ordered" everybody to hate Testefy. That's just how the slums operate. They don't get that people can independently reach conclusions and not want to associate with something any more. That not everything is a product of the same groupthink that they employ.

Also, @The Coon really set off a shitshow with his comments about Mandy's accent. From what I saw of the stream, Finatra claims that Mandy is 100% genuine, and DarkGrift is doing the cope where she's actually demonstrating "dedication" if she's faking it. LOL.

At least one person seemed to agree with The Coon though. Poor guy probably got dragged in the back room and beat up.

You know what, I said before that I regret making those statements, but fuck it, I now regret nothing, 😂.
I also love how they all claim that I said she was faking her accent, when the whole time I have said she was exaggerating it. I have used the word "exaggerating" for a reason because I believe she has a southern accent, but it's nothing like the over the top shit that she uses on stream.
My original post on the subject.
Yea Mandy ain't goin nowhere y'all. She has a lot of CG  simps fans and like Dongs pointed out, the CG faithful arent going to rally behind this soyboy brigade and against their small chested Queen.

Just goes to show that even a retarded, Alabama grown, accent exaggerating*, fit women with small tits that are held up with an expensive pushup bra and a butter face(not the traditional definition of butter face, its that her face looks like room temperature slightly melted butter) can thrive in an internet space like CG.
Power Leveling here, but I have lived in the south all my life and never heard an accent like the one she uses when she does the "Hey Lovebug" and the "Hey Yall". She has a southern accent, but the one she uses most of the time is exaggerated and is close to what most actors think a southern accent sounds like, not the real thing. When she gets dumbfounded or frustrated, the fake one goes away and her real normal accent comes out.

I think it's potaTOE vs. paTAHtoe. I think if you exaggerate something to the degree Mandy does, you can legitimately use the word fake. So, in my book, neither you or Fowler are wrong.

It's just funny that they're so assblasted over this. Your comment was made as an aside, and it wasn't Fowler's main point. His main point pretty clearly dealt with the similarity between Gemshock and Jailbait. I'd swear they're trying everything to deflect from the real meat of this matter.

Well, data from Europe Comics came out that's so bad that now CBR has to admit that American comics are fucked.

Manga and Webtoon Publishers Are Dominating the Comics Industry

By MEGAN PETERS - February 8, 2023 12:13 pm EST

These days, manga is giving comics a run for it. The medium has been popular for decades, of course, but its recent push outside of Japan proves manga is for everyone. In the past few years, manga publishers have been outselling Western comic prints with ease, and a stunning graph shows just how well manga is doing.

As you can see below, the team at Europe Comics posted a graph denoting the approximate revenue of the top ten graphic novel publishers between 2020 and 2021. It was there fans got a look at how big publishers of manga and South Korean webtoons have become.

To start, Shueisha came in first place while Kodansha took second and Kadokawa took third. Shogakukan took hold of fourth place ahead of Kakao and Naver, two of the biggest webtoon publishers on the market. Marvel Comics and DC Comics came in seventh and eighth respectively before Media Participations and Panini Comics wrapped the top ten list.

Of course, there are some Western-centric publishers missing from this list, but that is thanks to this data's global reach. The info was sourced by Fumettologica in Italy, so relevant publishers in Europe were considered with global brands. However, we know Viz Media is absolutely crushing in sales these days.

For one, the publisher saw many of its current and backlog titles go out of stock during the pandemic's shutdown as manga rose in popularity. Nowadays, Viz Media's licenses all but dominate graphic novel sales in the United States according to BookScan. In fact, January 2023's list was comprised entirely of manga including Chainsaw Man and Spy x Family. And again, there were no Western comics to be found.

I wonder if marvel and DC will be like 1960s DC when marvel started dominating "we need more gorillas!" "we need more speech balloons on the cover!" and just go "we need to copy manga's art style even more!" "we need to completely butcher our remaining characters!"

At some point as in the mid 1950s it will just grind to a halt and maybe it's time for a rest. No one's begging them to print more Super"man" books.

Viz is a wholly owned subsidiary of Shogakukan-Shueisha. It's possible Viz's numbers are fungible with the parent company in that chart.

If that's not true, and they simply neglected to include Viz sales altogether, then the chart is actually underreporting how far ahead manga is.

I wonder if marvel and DC will be like 1960s DC when marvel started dominating "we need more gorillas!" "we need more speech balloons on the cover!" and just go "we need to copy manga's art style even more!" "we need to completely butcher our remaining characters!"
They can try aping the art style, but I don't really think that's the issue. Not everybody likes the anime/manga style.

I think where they're really falling down is the writing. Too much pandering. Too much playing things safe. It's atrocious.
