Yes the Tinder picture is fake, but enjoy the laugh.

Wait, so people were giving EJ shit for getting a warehouse for his business when EVS was already doing it to begin with???

Christ, these obsessed detractors really are just disingenuous as fuck.

Yup. They both have/had two warehouses. Both over ordered books/toys/posters/etc. But it's bad when EJ does it. I guess a case could be made on EJ having too many employees. But EJ at least has plans to put them to work with the fulfillment service thing. And no way to really know who of those employees are full-time/part-time/contractor.

Also, by doing the campaigns off of IGG...he's saving at least 5% in third party fees. Which is $60,000+ using the Yaira campaign. Plus, not by using a fulfillment service, it probably makes some of the employee cost a wash.

No I'm pretty sure they'll arrive at the warehouse in a big slab of 100 or 500pc bundles. Those slabs may be in a tube but usually they're packed flat. From there each has to be rolled individually and placed in a tube for shipping to the customer.

By my count he sold 594 total posters but there are 4 variations:

Poster A: 159
Poster B: 127
Poster C: 151
Poster D: 157

If I had to guess he's probably printing 500 of each, maybe 1,000? The shipping tubes will take 10x the warehouse space of the poster bundles themselves.

Makes sense. You're probably right on that. But even at just 500 each. That seems like a lot of posters that will just sit around for a really long time. It's been almost a year since that campaign started and they've sold ~600? Maybe they can include it as an add-on with a Pitt omnibus or something, but even with that you're probably looking at a year or more of a thousand plus posters wasting space waiting to get sold until that's ready to be printed or sent out. And that's assuming EVS will be the one to do that.

Correct. He even hired some of his sons friends at one point to help before putting his wife to work.

Christ, I knew people were making up reasons to hate on EJ(not all of them, obviously. I’m fully aware there legitimate issues people may take with the guy), but to know they’re vilifying him for a smart business decision they themselves do is just…fucking hell.

Malin even tried starting his own fulfillment service for CG crowdfunders just like EJ is. It failed of course.

Their biggest problem with EJ is that he's proven to be much better at their game than they were. That really is all there is to it.

I think the NDA thing is meant to be fun, but to also build hype. Get people to talk about stuff which in turn helps get the stuff trending on Twitter and maybe YouTube/elsewhere. I don't know if the trending stuff on Twitter is localized or based on who you follow. But practically everyday for the last week or two I've been seeing nothing but Rippaverse, Yaira, or Eric July on the trending tab.
You and I know what it means but think of anyone else casually interested seeing this thinking wtf did I just watch? It's an inside joke for his closed community that buys the merch. Twitter trending shows you more of what you look at and follow, and stuff based on your location/VPN location. It doesn't show retarded Rippaverse and Comicsgate shit to normal people, I see none of that.

You nailed it, it was part of the plan to take Rippa out. By warehouseshaming eric they thought they could deprive him of the rippaverse warehouse while secretly stockpiling warehouses of their own. It's a little known fact of the industry but most conflicts between competing comic book publishers are ended when the victorious imprint claims the warehouse of the loser, like when DC took Charlton Comics' warehouse back in 1986. Since the raid was a critical element in the creation of the seminal work of Watchmen by Alan Moore, history has vindicated DC EiC Jeanette Khan.

At least that would be more entertaining.

The Toy endeavor was a vanity project because @FROG wanted to be the next Todd McFarlane. Those Chinese plastic shit toys are going to end up on a World Class Bullshitters Toy store Video being liquidated at 10 cents on the dollar.

Idea was not wrong if the Pie man could produce a book more than every half decade. but it is what it is. Bankruptcy ain't so bad Look at Dark Side Phill.

This looks gay. More women lead bullshit by supposed "anti-sjw" culture warriors. How long till we get the inevitable Rippaverse "Bi-Poc Women of Color Representation" tweet.

I have been thinking about how terrible the dialogue in Isom is. It's by far the worst part of the book and makes me think EJ might be retarded.
However I've recently found out there's people without an internal monologue. Could this be the reason EJ's Dialogue is atrocious?

Here's a conversation with someone who doesn't have an internal monologue. Listening to this brings to mind the "vagueries" that @FROG has been talking about in July's work.

Reading Isom I remember thinking the dialogue was Bizarre and just odd in general. That it was like that in Isom 2 makes me think there has to be a reason for that...

In a free market its not about if a product is good or bad, its about does it make money. Isom's shit books are making money, now if that's do to middle aged men spending welfare checks on shit product, or an actual real base buying product doesn't matter. money talks.

No way, the Rippaverse Warehouse is like a never-ending wellspring of content and tardcum on a level not seen since Liam Gray livestreamed himself building the Conquest Comics Dojo/shack in his father-in-law's backyard.

Normally getting a warehouse is a routine fact of business when you're dealing with storing and shipping thousands of orders. Brian Pulido has a warehouse, Billy Tucci has a warehouse, even @FROG has a warehouse. Rippa however decided to go full hypebeast on leasing a warehouse like it was the most important shit ever. He'd put out press releases and announcement vids on the warehouse, complete with drone HD flybys for cinematic aerials of the inside of the building. Pictures were taken for public release of him fucking around with forklifts. Soon detractors began to a-log the warehouse, hunting for specifics to prove Rippa was not the warehouse god he claimed to be. VikkiVerse became a veteran steveador on the subject of optimal space usage. Next came the open plotting against the Rippaverse Warehouse once the time for simply criticizing it had passed. Dick Masterson would dispatch his pet retard Riley to drive out to Plano to put stickers on the glass, to which Rippa responded by putting out videos musing that he would be well within his rights to use lethal force in defense of the warehouse. Soon Nick Rekieta would weigh in on this important subject. Rippa's fans on social media speculate that his competitors are threatened by the Rippaverse Warehouse, and no doubt scheme to get a piece of the action themselves. Now we have RippaSend, which for a 'modest' fee any youtuber can harness the power of this legendary building.

Sometimes lolcow Razorfist just finished his very first "Iron Age Attacks!" stream, this inaugural episode with BattleTech author Blaine Pardoe.
Pardoe gave a shout out to Eric July and the Rippaverse, and Razorfist himself made reference to people that try to tear down independent creators when they suddenly show massive success, or who complain that someone is "stealing from a limited market." I like to think Razor had EVS and his posse in mind with that statement.

I think it only makes sense that Eric July's product is Confirmation Bias. People like hearing from other people who agree with them. So much so that they will spend Millions every time he shits out a comic.

Was Razorfist going to kill this guy or something? Why does he have a gun?
