Narwhal's stuff is usually good, this color scheme ruins it.

There might be things I'm not thinking of but the stuff of Narwhal's I liked was what he did without Zack. I think my favorite was the one where a soldier was in some family's house to get out of the snow or whatever and he spoke a different language but they were able to communicate through drawing art. I have it around somewhere but I forgot the name. The premise was a little better than the execution but I felt like that one had the potential to be a cool moody little indie film or something.

He basically did both. His interest died and he killed it in others too by his lateness and his bitterness. He made sure to kill the Jawbreakers too in order to prevent future stories. His non-Jawbreakers (and non-Dixon) stuff did not do better than his Jawbreakers comics and his partners have moved on from him when they realised he was just dragging them down. Just look at Narwal. He is getting mainstream work now. Zack would kill for that.

It feels like he did make an effort to separate from Jawbreakers, because there was a switch where he got REALLY pretentious. He started using words he’d learned two seconds before the video, especially if they sounded flowery to the ear. You could tell he was stretching to find a place for the word, and sometimes, that might’ve even been the entire purpose for the video.

That was when he started gassing projects like that weird highlighter vomit that Jim Rugg did (my theory is he actually stole that palette for his ugly book).
He would try to speak about these high-minded concepts with such authority, but you know he’s just the glue-eater too dumb to understand Spawn.

Your theory's actually correct; Meyer himself admitted several times while promoting the NarZack book that he ripped off the palette from one of Jim Rugg's books widway though his own comic's production. Problem was of course that Rugg can render better drawings than Narwahl AND his original gaudy palette is pertinent to the story. I do wonder how Narwahl reacted when he found out Zack had decided to further fvck his already crappy drawings with that palette.

Zack's latest video is him suggesting that Drinker and Nerdrotic should transition for making fun of marvel slop losing at the box office against the Bridget Jones film and Drinker making a video talking about the troubled production of a romcom.

As a reminder, Zack is a huge fan of Sex and the city and has made videos about it. And he's warned SJWs against the danger of transitioning.
And in usual old man fashion he sprinkled a navy's story that went nowhere and had no relation with anything at all with the rest of the video.

I just always assume that the Drinker and Zack had some kind of falling out over that book they worked on together. Whatever the reason, declaring war on the Drinker and all his friends hasn't helped Zack in any way. All it's really done is draw attention to bizarre behavior that was always there in the background of Zack's videos but now seems to have completely taken over Zack's whole personality.
