That's great you defeated all the newfags with your stickers that were stopping you from talking about EVS.
Now if you could only find time in your busy schedule of gobbling tranny dick you can start posting about EVS because he is so, so interesting.
Hope you can get around to it someday!
Stickers aren't going to derail me, though I don't recall stopping anyone from insulting EVS either. Was a big fan at one point but the guy deserves everything coming to him now so you'll get no pushback from me. Anyway, I thought I'd try to make both sides happy here with this nugget:
After the nightletter incident I thought I'd give Ethan another chance. I'm sure you'll all disagree, but there was a brief period where Rippa bashing were relegated to specific nights a week for a couple of hours a week, at least giving the appeareance of working on outstanding campaigns. It wasn't horrible...until EVS branched out to take on the Zeroes (which you may noticed he changed the definition of to include all of them). That's when he started bringing up YBZ again. There are some kernels of truth in there: Criticizing for the sake of criticizing, stale content, "concensus opinion", etc. It's when you flip out on a guy for not getting his review out "on time" that you lose me. And what does Ethan say? "Well he's a reviewer so he shouldn't be taking time off to be with his family if he has something to watch. Oh, and that one Tweet Drinker made about it? Totally triggered."
Fuck. You.
This is what I'm getting at and I don't think it gets touched on enough because it's really scummy: I think it's fair to say Richard Meyer is dealing with something right now. Does Ethan give a shit that his friend (his claim. not mine) might have a problem? No! He hates Gary Buechler and all his buddies so much he's just going to ignore these insane cries for help (and a good chunk of his audience) just for a little extra superchat cash, all under the guise of "Zack's always right, one day you'll see!".
A simple Google search would tell you that a “bomb” or a “flop” is a movie that doesn’t make back it production and release budget; if it doesn’t break even by a large amount; it’s a bomb. What they do to make up the cost is irrelevant and at many points could even increase the release cost.
This has probably been said a million times to Zack, but it’s abundantly clear that he’s ignoring everything now.
When BvS came out there was big talk about how much it cost (production and marketing) and how much it needed to break even (essentially 2-2.5x the cost). You talk about Google searches? This is not a new conversation, it was just conveniently forgotten once Marvel films started becoming unprofitable.
One of the issues is Disney's lying about Blacktain America's reported budget. Whatever was stated in those rags (under $200 or something) just isn't accurate. Blacktain America was shot at least twice, you don't do that for under $200 million. Even if you take the reported budget as truth this movie will be lucky to break even and you don't need to read it off of RK Outpost's fivehead to figure that out.
But YBZ (and EVS, don't let him off the hook) don't give a shit about that.
