McFarlanes and the more "toys for kids" lines like Hasbro's Marvel Legends and Mattel's Masters of the Universe lines are within the same price range, actually. Very likely because their marketing stats show that the biggest market for toys at the moment are adults, not children, and these adults have money to blow.

Just look at the toy side of Instagram and Reddit - you see posts showing off "weekend hauls" of easily 6 to 8 McFarlanes; assuming each is $23 (note: prices are getting higher - the new Peacemaker is $35!), that's easily $138 at least spent on a single weekend.

You know, when the idiot deleted all his videos except for the few that actually got views and started reviewing mainstream comics, I made fun of him for it. Even so, it was a relief, because I thought, "Oh, he's just going to disappear." It's not that I think that his one-sided feud with more popular Youtubers is a "winning strategy," it's because it is the same trainwreck that most cows are. However, people watch trainwrecks, so he might manage to get enough views to keep his channel going for beer money.

As to the content of the video, his arguments are pretty loony. "Sidney Sweeney is a gay man's idea of what straight men are into," is an extremely weird thing to say about a popular modern sex symbol. But then I know most of Richard's talking points in these kinds of videos are just bait to get a reaction rather than anything he either believes or thinks is an intelligent argument.

When people say toys made for kids, they are talking about the 4 to 5 inch scale figures at the 9 dollar price range.

Like the epic heroes for Marvel, spinmaster for DC and the McFarlane's dc super powers.

Toys with basic articulation, no ab crunch and not meant for collecting, more for playset and toys kids can beat up with hours of play.
