Well considering they practically worship the guy, I have no doubt that they will. EVS is only making the project now, because the Wheelers released it first. It's a matter of pride with him, if they didn't release it he still wouldn't have made it or be making it now.

Yep, I think EVS ALSO is starting to realize that himself too.... He'll never admit it, but you can tell he sees it. Also YBZ has been exposed as a grifter, and it's at the point that even EVS can't even deny it now, even if he wanted to. CG is dead, and nothing they do will change that.

EVS seems to have a problem with scaling. The quillon of her sword looks more curved than its close-up, and looks a lot thicker than when seen close-up.

I LOVE how he likes to nitpick or "critique" everyone else's art *or one brand in particular* but if you look close enough under a microscope like he does, you'll find out his is not that much better at all and he HATES it when people do it to him. Even AFTER this happened to him and it still happens too not just here, he STILL keeps doing it to other people...he just can't learn his lesson it seems.

No, Ethan is much more of a grifter than Zach. Zack is an emotionally incontinent closet case, guys like that are always gonna flip away from right wing talking points because those talking points were just the ultimate cope for disappointing his parents by being a fag. Just like he told himself he was serving his country by being in the military but it was actually so that he could hang out with sweaty dudes all day.

It's interesting he's not using references which is kinda admirable but not if you're going to make tons of dogshit anatomy mistakes. That profile of the head is one of the worst things I've seen a legit pro comic do. It's Liefeldesque.

He's probably doing a rush job (for his standards at least) in an effort to finish the book before the end of the decade...
 
One thing people might forget is that EVS's Rainbow Brite parody idea came from a livestream where he was just sort of being funny and spitballing ideas and making people laugh and pointing out the industry hypocrisy that was always doing that in the other direction. It was a totally fine and funny idea in that context where it's just an idea where you go "yeah that would be funny if that happened" and it just exists as a concept and a passing joke. Maybe even a couple memes to get the point across.

The idea is maybe not good enough to bother actually manifesting it into a realized finished work, but to the degree that it is, it's sort of something you have to jump on before the moment passes. It's a throwaway joke and should have been cranked out with that in mind and not treated as if it was Winds of Winter where it is some huge complex thing that's impossible to resolve. Note: I know he is basically lazy and it isn't the scope of the artistic vision holding him back, though that's his excuse. Well, that and "I was too busy designing chinese hotwheels and rereleasing cyberfrog with other covers"

It sort of reminded me of Kevin Smith's 'Tusk' film. It started out from just riffing ideas on a podcast and probably shouldn't have been taken seriously enough to actually develop. But even that clown managed to get it done and it was an entire movie. It wasn't that great or anything but it's what was advertised on the tin, as they say. It was the joking around with friends idea fully realized and in a reasonable timeframe. EVS is just useless. It's going to be too little, too late. Anyone who cared already moved on with their lives.

Yeah, he's a panhandler all right. The money he makes in super chats after YouTube takes its fair share and the taxes is dog shit with the amount he's left with as well, especially after that many hours of streaming. Smart people would know when to move on and when something doesn't work anymore, but EVS is a complete retard.

Old Richard was like Terry A. Davis. Except for comic books, instead of computer programming.

I mean, he's not that sick, but you get the idea.

Which is to say, there were often flashes of brilliance amongst his insane ramblings. Most importantly, he was funny. And funny goes a long way. When @Done wrote the OP, he pointed out all of Richard's flaws, but opined most of them were easily forgivable because the dude was entertaining. He wasn't wrong.

Modern Richard is none of that. All of his opinions are awful and unoriginal, and the wit and charm is gone.

I still think the Waid lawsuit broke something in his brain. It's sad.
