Like what? What titles are interesting? Who bought Isom 3? Who is hyped up for Blood Ruth or Horseman?

I cant think of one person who thought Spawn was low quality. There is a gulf of difference between what McFarlane put out and what Eric has available. There aren’t really any breakout characters for the Rippaverse that look like they are going to be a hit in the way that Spawn was. And it didn’t take three for Spawn to become mega popular either.

The people who are buying his comics are his fanbase and we all know that most of them aren’t really into comics like that to begin with judging by the sales of his subsequent campaigns.

Research bud..... research. Seriously you're saying things that have already been proven AGAINST what you say by research already. Also people have been calling spawn bad quality in the beginning and they've also called Todd McFarland a bad writer, if I were you I would do this little thing called "research" unless you want to be lazy and you want me to do it for you? Because at this point it's not hard to do. And Image Comics has been around since the '90s before the internet was even a thing, so of course it had some time to become popular..... again RESEARCH. Also way to prove how little you know about the industry..... Companies go by yearly revenue and the number of books sold, they don't go by campaign drop offs, they're not crowdfunding and they certainly don't make a million every time.... Not even the mainstream does that, let alone a completely independent company that relies entirely on itself. Freaking tourist. 🙄 Save the YBZ and EVS bullshit for people who are dumb enough to believe it.

Also the fact that Eric is releasing More and more books but getting less money is sales per book indicates that yes, his fanbase has dropped off.

How much hype do you think books like Goodyng or The Great War of Separation generated since now Eric has to resort to putting out digital copies of his books?

How much surplus do you think he has in that big old warehouse of his for physical copies that aren’t selling?

I refuse to explain *again* how companies in this industry works as well as realistic expectations. You're insane if you think they're all supposed to make over a million every character, and you also leave out the part that it has a store. Seriously it's not hard to understand this at all. It actually made more in 2025, then it did in 2024 when it comes to revenue and book sold "like a COMPANY is supposed to do" what, you really think everyone's going to back the pre-orders and not buy it sooner or later? You really think that the pre-order is the only opportunity you have to get it? Seriously even with the amount the current books are making it is still a milestone, and I see new people get into it even now.... again you useless little tourist.... RESEARCH. It is extremely rare for Comics to make over a million ONCE let alone 4 times in a row especially in this type of industry, and you're under the delusion that because every character has a drop off compared to the first or second issue that it's a sign of losing fans? Im gonna go out on a limb here and say that you did not read any of the books. Because of you did, you would know what I am talking about. You think any of those new people are gonna be repeat customers once they see Isom getting his butt kicked in the first two issues of his own comic along with a boring storyline that turns from a gangland story to a demon invasion? Or the incomprehensible mess that was the first issue of Yaira? Or what about the boring drab green costume designs of Alpha Core? Is that going to continue to bring in repeat customers?

It might bring in new people at first but, when they read the actual books the initial hype is going to wear off real quick.

Eric could be facing a lull in crowdfund. Which is expected with the model he's doing which he eventually wants to go to store shelves. But Zack has no room to talk considering he himself admitted no one buys his books nor would pay for his PTSD of Fonzi.
Zack loses credibility talking about anyone's success or business acumen when he never let his ideas make past crowdfund. Anytime people offered to help or promote his book he wouldn't go on channels to promote, he killed off his Characters in its second book & Screwed over Stallone by fucking around.

Eric isn't crowdfunding his books, and the fact people are STILL convinced otherwise at this point almost makes me give up on believing that people are smart at this point in time. Regarding how much he's currently making right now in his pre orders, *and again RESEARCH has proven this* he's doing very well for the amount of books being sold and the amount of money he made. As for Zack, yeah he really has no say in anything at this point in time.

What are you talking about? I backed his books and rooted for him. I got the said books on time but, didn’t like what I read. Turns out other people do like his books and I was wrong about my take on his books being more widespread.

They weren’t for me. Simple as that.

Yeah I don't care if some people don't like them, but I DO care when people try to speak for the people that read them and do enjoy them saying they only bought them for reasons other than enjoying them, and to call them fake readers is just petty and extremely over entitled. That type of egocentrism REALLY needs to stop in this hobby. It's not even hard to find reviews of people that actually do enjoy them and I'm tired of certain people pretending they don't exist, especially now. It's 2026...... It's not even hard to find good reviews from new and returning customers at this point in time, and a lot has changed and improved since Isom 1 and 2.

To be fair he was able to deliver his last comic, LA Ex, within a month last year.
But by then He had already lost most of his buyer's trust and spent time that should have gone to advertising into complaining about Drinker and Eric.
Later on he admited the comic was a failure and he made just enough to pay for delivery.
And he still hasn't even finished Comic Book The Comic Book.

If he's too broke or cheap and is using free ChatGPT, dude can only do about 3 images a day (which includes unusable ones, so if he gets 3 crap ones, no progress that day). He may even need that 3 to make thumbnails instead.
