There's a barely known author who writes the lamest fantasy books ever made and self-publishes them on Amazon and sells pretty much nothing, but there are hundreds of reviews all over the internet about how he's blowing Tolkien out of his socks and how humanity has collectively decided he's the greatest wordsmith to ever haunt the page. He also as a forum where nobody ever gets approved to post but is filled with weird accounts talking about how awesome he is and fancasting the latest adaptation of his work that just got announced in the trades. It's all a larp done by said author of unread books, but he's having fun pretending to be a big shot and that's all that matters. (He also posts pictures of himself with authors he considers peers, but they're likely pictures he snapped at a signing.)

It's always weird when he talks about videogames. He doesn't play videogames and he's on the periphery of the videogame culture war. Of course, he does watch movies/tv and he likes a lot of bad, gay stuff there like Starfleet Academy. He's less skilled at playing games than Darkside Phil, but even if he weren't his pop-culture track record is so bad you could never trust him to talk about them.

My current impression of Wolverine is that it is an unmitigated disaster for Sony just like Concord was, and it arrived at a bad time because they've been dealing with multiple black eyes due to the arrogant way they've been dealing with customers and devs that have nothing to do with wokeness. None of this would matter to Richard though, when Supergirl flopped he just said it will be remembered some day as an underrated classic.

I can't even say he's talking about this one because it is comic book related, he got on the defend Assassin's Creed Shadows bandwagon despite that being well outside of both comic books and movies. He's just becoming the worst general pop culture channel out there these days.
