I got my Bigfoot Bill book. It's great and I agree with Doug with hardbound being the future. Make these books collectible signed boutique products. Stuff story details in collectible cards and a making-of ashcan. Making them bigger is also great. I'm excited for his next campaign I think is starting in a few weeks.

I am not into buying books to "Own the SJW's" but goddamn this book looks really good, probably helps I am a fan of Earthworm Jim.

I don't either. Bfb and Cyberfrog are the only two I've backed, and I only did it as a fan of Doug and Ethan's work. Lone Star was boring, and Jawbreakers wasnt very good. The claim that CG puts out quality was pretty much a lie until Bfb came out.

TUG's comic is about to hit $15,000 with only three people, him, the artist, and the colorist for Cyber Frogs's cover. Meanwhile, Dead Beats has over forty creators contributing and combined they were still overcomed by a black-and-white comic.

That is embarrassing. When you have the media shilling for you and still get beaten out by someone with less than 30K subscribers on YouTube, that says a lot about how unwilling the anti-Comicsgate people are to back up their stance on "diversity". Dead Beats could beat 100K and as long as TUG's comics can still beat it, they're still failing. I look forward to the spin they're going to do.

Did anyone see Andy Khouri is launching new woke comics right after vertigos failure? He’s even got n. K. Jemisin writing woke black woman green lantern.

Why do they keep giving this idiot stuff to do? Especially after vertigo being a flop.

I think it is because she's basically the anti-Vox Day, which to the tards running DC equals being the anti-Ethan van Sciver. For those who don't know Ol' Vox called her "half-savage" a few years ago and got bounced from the Science Fiction Writers of America thereby.

My favorite N.K. Jemisin moment is when she was on a cruise of the Caribbean, fully paid on somebody else's nickel, teaching some sort of stupid seminar for gullible wannabe writers, writing blog entries REEEEing about white oppression. I think that sums up ol' N.K.

I wonder if she'll make Green Lantern narrate in second person, present tense as in The Fifth Season?

It’s truly amusing to watch all the old ComicsAlliance weirdos continue to kill comics every single month & nobody to put 2+2 together & realize “hey, maybe that trash website that demanded we change everything to suit them & then we hired all their people & our sales went down every year since? Maybe let’s not use those people anymore. Maybe they were wrong about everything”

But Andy keeps his DC gig.

She keeps failing up when her work is mediocre at best. It’s good, though. Continues to invalidate idiots like And Khouri who promote this stuff.

He gushed over her writing, nothing like Zoe :story:

By the way, not sure if any of you caught it but EVS had a Livestream with Doug the other day. Doug slipped up and might have inadvertently outed one of EVS' secret projects.

EVS was talking about some sort of Cyberfrog cover crossover and Doug said "Now, who'll be handling that, the Dynamite folks?". EVS chuckled and in a somewhat bemused and resigned manner mumbled "Doug...". They quickly moved on and it wasn't brought up again.

EVS at Dynamite?

I think EVS has friends at Dynamite, so that would make sense. I remember he talked about his friends when he pitched his Rainbow Bright idea. But what would they do? Just prints of ALLCAPS stuff for retail? Guess time will tell.

Yea, that's what I'm thinking. He's obviously not going to "work" for them. Printing some of his stuff for the traditional market is a good guess. Maybe he'll throw a "Dynamite original exclusive" their way every once in a while, too.

I'd say Dynamite will be Cyberfrog's route to the direct market. EVS mentioned in that stream that one of the 4 new covers (Really Ethan? We're up to 7 variant covers now?) would be crossover covers that would include Vampirella, a character Dynamite has the rights to publish. It's a shame that Alterna aren't the publisher of choice, I'd like to have seen support for Simeti given the hell that standing up to SJW's has brought him but I guess he probably just isn't big enough yet.
It's a ballsy move by Dynamite, but given the state of the industry a tier three publisher like Dynamite might as well roll the dice, it's not like there's going to be much of an industry to lash out at them for allying with Comicsgate in a few more years so they might as well be first into this new market.

He also wouldn't want his titles on newsprint.
