Facebook restored the 250k+ strong Bounding Into Comics fan page late at night.
The page was restored around 10:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday, May 8th. However, while the page was restored, we still have not received any communication from Facebook indicating why the page was taken down in the first place.
Upon a brief look at the page, no content appears to have actually been removed. In fact, the Spider-Man: Far From Home trailer article is currently the last post on the page.
We are still reaching out to Facebook to try to get an explanation of why the page was actually removed.
In the meantime, we still implore you to sign-up for our Email Newsletter. Facebook and other social media companies cannot deplatform our newsletter. It’s the best way for us to keep in touch with all of you!

Maybe FaceBook is getting more pushback from it’s banhappy behavior over the past month. This is a situation that needs careful monitoring.

There was no way they could take a, “Nothing to see here, please move along”approach. This is the 1st Amendment and the whole “It’s a private company” argument is particularly gay.

Here’s a hint. It’s not “much raycizm!” It’s they took the one legit out they had to dump a completely toxic and worthless employee without (much) blowback. They took the one chance they had, in the confusion of the merger, to dump the dangerhaired heap of workplace toxicity. And make he/she/xir/xem somebody else’s problem.

1 Umbrella Boi with a youtube channel and twitter raised almost 70k with more backers and he still has 11 hours to go, not counting indemand time. HOW EMBARRASSING.

They couldn't even beat WarCampaign and they don't even have as many backers. Ok that is actually nuts, WC apparently knows how to price those tiers. Good job spergs

The print book industry has also increased sales year-over-year since 2013 & has overall risen about 12% in units sold since then. The “print is dying” is only true if you compare it to other periodical sales. But considering comics have much more in common with print books than they do periodicals like magazines & newspapers, it’s a disingenuous argument.

There’s maybe 10 people on a total comic project including the editors & assistant editors. Statistically speaking, it means you might work with a tranny once every dozen or so projects. Unless you’re on Dead Beats & have like 75 co_creators.
