Normally I'd consider this conspiratorial paranoia, BUT... Ishiro gets views in the hundreds.
To be fair, a few hundred people could literally double Mag's monthly sales.

Their vids deserve better than that. They're pretty funny and high-effort. I recommend everyone who enjoys the "reviewing cringey comics" aspect of ComicsGate YouTubing give them a look.Normally I'd consider this conspiratorial paranoia, BUT... Ishiro gets views in the hundreds. He's not big enough to get noticed by normies or anti-comicsgaters. Its likely Mags, being the mentally ill narcissist he is, found and reported the video. Brian does have a history of reporting videos critical of his shit writing.
You misspelt fiends.Comicsgate was never a destination. It was always about the friends we made on the way.
I find it hilarious that reetarded people like Meyer and Sciver gives advice to people on how to youtube when their channel views and subscribers are complete shit. Complete unfounded sense of confidence.Anyone find it ironic that Ya Boi released a video titled 'How to be Successful on Youtube' while his channel is collapsing and he can barely manage to pull 10k views on his vids despite having over 100k subscribers? Both Ya Boi and EVS are examples of what not to do on youtube. Both made their bones with fun videos trashing mainstream entertainment only to pivot to dull, soy-filled ramblings once they finished their first indiegogo campaigns. Meanwhile, channels like WorldClassBullshitters are continuing to grow because they never stopped producing content people want to watch.
For all of Zack's talk about being a hot dogs vendor, he never applied that mentality to his youtube channel. He's taken his channel and his audience for granted, and he's paying the price in zero channel growth and declining views. No one should take his advice on how to succeed on youtube because, let's be honest here, he's a failure.

Saying something doesn't make it true...We call what we're doing now "ComicsGate." So it's still going, it's still a statement, it's still a movement.
But if ComicsGate was about making anti-SJW videos and trying to get Marvel and DC to fire Dan Slott and Heather Antos, yeah, that's very dead.
Is it? I still enjoy when he actually talks about Marvel and DC comics...I just think he's bored with them now. It sucks that no one cares about comics and that's literally what he's good on. Like the guy that used to fix phone booths.Anyone find it ironic that Ya Boi released a video titled 'How to be Successful on Youtube' while his channel is collapsing and he can barely manage to pull 10k views on his vids despite having over 100k subscribers? My first one actually. It was a pain.Because I'm smart. Aren't you getting tired of creating new accounts?
Did you actually watch the video? He was pretty humble about his numbers and acknowledges he hasn't had much growth in terms of views recently. The title is a bit tongue-in-cheek - note it says "how to be semi-successful," not "how to be successful." He also has some rather smart advice about not making YouTube your day job regardless of how successful you may become.Anyone find it ironic that Ya Boi released a video titled 'How to be Successful on Youtube' while his channel is collapsing and he can barely manage to pull 10k views on his vids despite having over 100k subscribers? well, you have to give it to the guy, crashing his channel and views is quite a humbling experience indeed. But yeah, listened to it 2 times and all I got is ramblings of a mundanematt-lite. It also seems that he actually has no idea why his channel blew up and why it crashed.Did you actually watch the video? Anyone who tries to use the 3, maybe 5 years to avoid working by going onto Youtube instead is a moron anyway due to how often you'll plateau and collapse.Except its not "rather smart advice." It sounds smart because you agree with it, but the fact is youtube is and has been a viable career option for thousands of people. Zack is just saying not to do it because he failed. His "advice" is nothing more than the arrogant declaration, "if I can't do it, nobody can." That's not smart. It offers no insights. Its not helpful to anyone. Its just the angry ramblings of another failtuber who thought he was hot shit because he was briefly popular 2+ years ago.

Here's my youtube advice to him: If you have no idea what you are talking about, don't talk about it. You'll tend to spout stupid shit and turn people off from you
Honestly that title should go to Tony for the MCU, but whatever that website is almost certainly dying of irrelevance anyway despite desperately going woke.I know this is in the A&H board, but this proves how out of touch these so-called "journalists" are when it comes to comics, let alone pop culture:

How Ms. Marvel became Marvel’s most important superhero - Vox
archived 8 Jan 2020 13:59:24 UTCarchive.li
Ms. Marvel, as in Kamala Khan, is "the most important Marvel superhero of the last decade"? These people......
And they wonder why ComicsGate had the initial support that it did.
He gets 10% of his subs on most of his videos, thats not complete failure. you also have to discount all the subs he only gain as moral support after the fallout of his dark roast. He isnt doing well, but its just free ads for his comics at this point.Except its not "rather smart advice."
