I havent read Ms. Marvel in a long ass time. Did she find a new boyfriend after realizing she liked her best friend(who liked her for a long time) only after he hooked up with the embodiment of a tumblr girl?

I loved the comics but I wanted more fighting badguys and cultural issues and less love triangle problems.

What, who the hell is the red dagger? A new character? And what happened to the fat chick? And of course its gotta be a shitty love triangle.

I use to like the sketchy artstly from the first 2 to 3 volumes of the comics and then all of a sudden it changed badly.

Is this the point where you tell us all about how mature and sophisticated your hobbies are? He knows Ms Marvel is directed at teens and that doesn't make it any less shit.

Ms. Marvel is not directed explicitly to teenagers and is often held up as an amazing new day for the comic industry as a whole because it's a muslim superhero girl being written by a muslim woman. It's therefore a valid criticism that the proclaimed comic ambassador of progressive islam is unable to get to second base with some guy she likes because the culture she represents would shit itself instantly if she did. It's also a valid criticism that a white schoolgirl is mocked for her whiteness in a way that would get someone fucking fired if it happened to any other ethnicity, and is portrayed as being a shit person for not wanting to be hit on by a stranger when the stranger is a lesbian whereas she'd be shown as a brave role-model for doing the same to a boy who hit on her.

Eh, this is always a weird subject to get into. Marvel doesn't even know the main demographics for their titles. Ms. Marvel is just pushed as one of the faces of the line and there's not much thought beyond that. Keep in mind they explicitly point out Moon Girl as being targeted towards elementary school book fairs but she's not self-contained to her own thing so she's pops up in other books and big crossovers that are unsuitable for that demographic because it lets them brag that "the smartest person in the Marvel universe" is black girl who hasn't hit puberty yet.

I'd have to dig for it but I'm reminded of people who worked on Squirrel Girl claiming their target demographic is women which is funny because stores thought they were supposed to be kid's books.

Maroyasha - (Twitter, YouTube) I had no clue this guy was even part of comicsgate but he seems to think he's a big shot in CG when he only used the comicsgate # a whopping 3 times (11 total including non-#) He seems to be the turd on the punch bowl that has to moralfag at every chance he gets.

Maroyasha has forgotten that any book could potentially be someone's first book and is a bit of an ass. Only reason I'm focusing more on Maro is because i don't think anyone here even know he exists, even on Youtube this guy is an unknown compared to YF:

I have high doubts it's ever been said before, either here or anywhere else on the internet, but I think a metric fuckton of the blame for the current atmosphere of the comics industry can be laid solely at Linkara's feet. The current state of events in the industry is everything Linkara has ever advocated for. Just to show what an influence he is, here's some examples of artists slipping him into their books for a cameo.
