Seeing all the salty blogs and "newsites" flip out over DC leaving Diamond is crazy to me. We've seen first hand how badly the Diamond monopoly has hit the industry over the last few decades. So much shady shit went on over the years and Marvel wasn't called on all the overshipping to inflate sales numbers.

Add in Diamond's terrible pandemic response. Delay of shipments was somewhat understandable, but full on refusing to pay out for books already shipped and sold was a colossal dick move. I'm betting that's the main thing that pushed DC/Warner over the edge and convinced them to sever ties, because it's going to be a long hard road to rebuild the distribution channels.

I'm just sad it took DC so long and the Coronavirus to grow a spine.

I'm guessing he's just parroting the same talking points as the checkmarks on twitter because on a basic level he understands what happens to people with a differing opinion.

Perhaps they realize that by releasing the last of their ammunition, all remaining threat will be gone and there won't be anything to do but to peddle their substandard stuff without the E-celebrity's endorsement. They live off the threats of dox and memes. Their meme power has been revoked now that they are quite late and homosexual to EVS memes, so the dox is all they got left. They have one sting left and then they die because going against the new E-crew means going against Ethan himself, which again makes them non-punctual and alphabet soup enthusiasts.

It's not that they aren't dilatory and degenerate already, but it would be impossible to avoid the self-realization at that point. They are living primarily off the fumes of a monumental cope trying not to think about the unholy task of re-appropriating CG from the Levi-Ethan who shekeled it into his own image. They literally are trying to pity-sell a magazine with the likeness and branding of their betrayer. This has turned into an absolutely ectopic cuckathalon.

Is it wrong of me to kinda feel bad for Warcampaign at this point? In the space of a month they've had a former member release DMs detailing their inner workings, had other CG pro's target their products, been completely abandoned and exiled by @FROG, had multiple high profile members leave, been robbed of CG Jumpstart, launched Vestige 2 to a lackluster reception, had themselves and family doxed () and are now the butt of every 12 year old CGer's joke on social media.

Considering how monolithic and absolute their power was over the past two years when it came to their quarrels with Lim, Sashi, Nerkish, Miller and Edwin, it's kind of pathetic to see them end up like this. Now they're just running around in the comment sections of larger pro's, nipping at the toes of giants, screaming #BLACKDRAGON like some autistic speds who don't realize they've already lost.

I was never a fan of Warcampaign, I always thought they were a bunch of volatile retards, but this ending to them is just so... sad.

George understands the process much better than a lot of people who came into the game thinking they're masters because he actually has experience in it. I don't even see it as being smug. They snubbed him and called him Pussyopoulous instead of actually asking him for good advice he could have probably given them. His name is one of the many the CG dickriders like to cite as having done something so terribly wrong, but like @NasserRabadi13 's case, it seems no one can actually name what they all did that was so wrong.

Usually, being smug has an element of ignorance tied to it. Which is why @Smug Freiza has the name he does, because it's ironic since he is not ignorant.

Huerta went all-in with Warcampaign in the current war. It might be because of his Vestige2 cover but he's acting like he fully approves of their gayop bs. I don't get it unless they have peg videos of him too.

CG was in an upswing before they came along. People who actually got their books out (Mike, Tim Lim, JDA, Nasser) got ejected from the movement while feet-dragging mouth breathers like Donal, Cridious and Andrew Huerta got praise and attention.

Everyone told Ethan to cut the cord for two years but wanted to keep playing games and fucking around (like @Adamska said) because of his ego. Now instead of a united group of indie guys putting out products people want, we basically have EVS, Malin and Fraga as the only people with actual talent in the movement, and tons of nobody talking heads like Micah and Liam.

To sum it up, this is WarCampaign now.

Barring the select few who may or may not be in on a galactic kayfabe, this was pure justice for a group that let their association with Ethan become their sole claim to relevance and competence. They became so confident perched on Ethan's wagging finger, that they thought they could say anything to anyone they found the slightest issue with. They eagerly mimicked their leader's rhetoric and with Ro being a strong 2nd, I think Gat even picked up some of his mannerisms over time.

Focusing on making compelling characters and making people aware of them was never the main draw. Liam has devoted 99 percent of his Youtube career talking about CG drama instead of generating hype for his own stuff. He never established himself as anything more than a talk show host. It doesn't automatically translate to people wanting to buy his manga-comic thing. As it turns out, there is a major drawback for settling for head-pats.

For what it's worth, Stan Lee's character wouldn't hold up to public scrutiny either if he was starting up today. If the drama between himself and Kirby were made known as it happened, Stan Lee would never have been able to build the harmless, dottering, good-natured persona he eventually stepped into. He's not the only one. We'd definitely be talking about Bill Finger way more than we do about the deluded Bob Kane.

The minute you decide to be a drama-jockey, there is a constant ticking time bomb that you will have to change out for a louder one with a bigger countdown. Everybody will wear out their welcome the longer they talk, no exceptions. Being a true professional is learning how to keep the focus on the good work that you do and not how bad everyone else is by comparison.

The thing is the cb industry is a pretty boring and a slow industry. Think of most scandals in cb, what actually happened is often just editors doing their job. I think it's just dark humor, although a very young version of it. Nasser's a kiddo after all. If you ask me, I think he's still trying to find his edge and what fits his brand of dark humor the most. Liam going as hard as he does at Nasser is really telling of his character. YouTube does this every time. After any new stream finishes the replay is cut to the last two hours while they process it or whatever. If this video had been 2hrs30 you would have come in at the 30 minute mark.

I think it usually takes YT around 20-30min to process and shit out the entire replay.
