However Mandy's replacement,
Brittany Venti, proved to be no boon as far as Anna goes, as she went on to spend her time alternating between dogwhistling with things like "early life checking pedophiles" and mogging a completely oblivious Anna, who overall is as knowledgeable on internet culture outside the Fandom Menace goldfish bowl as Billy Tucci.
Oh, Venti knows EXACTLY how the Internet works. She's actually a fairly accomplished troll.
Case in point, it would appear from that link (circa 2015) that she even pulled the wool over KF's eyes. Venti's "retard gamer girl" thing was
always an act to troll the trolls. And it worked more often than not.
Only issue is that sometimes it would get so funny, she'd laugh instead of fake cry, and try REALLY hard to obscure the fact she was laughing.
"Hold it in! HOLD IT IN!"
If Venti is Mandy's replacement, Anna and the others are in trouble. Venti is an act. A wolf in sheep's clothing. Anna isn't. I'm guessing these girls haven't caught on to this.
This
might end up being hilarious.
I could be wrong about this but I don't get the sense that Martina's a dummy either. She seems like the sort of girl with an above-average IQ who went full exceptional individual succubus with her sex appeal because reasons and has been riding that for as long as she can. Many such cases. Not saying that she's necessarily a Jill St. John -tier total package nor that she isn't bat shit insane, but she strikes me as playing in a somewhat different league than the others, with slightly more complex motivations. Again, I could just be seeing what I want to see because I'd no doubt let her ruin my life without hesitation but with the other thots lingering in the CG/G+G/FM sphere I do get a sense of their grifts being simply basic-bitch Female Dating Strategy applied to right-of-center nerds and disaffected bros.
From what I understand, the deal with Martina is that she is leveraging her IRL sex appeal into a marketable product for the Comicsgate crowd. Lady Alchemy is both her stage name as a burlesque dancer and the name of a comic book (mired in legal stuff) that features her (sorta) as a character. She might also be
legitimately right-of-center because of her past affiliations with Rebel News and the Daily Caller. Plus the fact she's married to a "British Nationalist" who has (until just recently) been barred entry into the US.
So, the fact she's legit hot and "sex positive," along with the fact she might actually be the "real deal" politically, has endeared her to the CG crowd. Which tends to lean right-of-center in opposition to far-left SJW ideology. She's like a dark-haired Lauren Southern, except Southern has a much longer bibliography, and more clothes on. Indeed, they both worked for Rebel Media. Southern has long been considered the "ideal waifu" among the online MAGA crowd, so it doesn't surprise me that Martina has a following.
The issue here, I think, is that what she's doing seems no different than all the other CG thots. Like all the other thots, I don't think Martina actually gives a fuck about comic books or the comic industry. I think she sees a market she can exploit in CG, and had somebody create a product with her name and likeness to exploit it. My understanding is she's done
none of the heavy lifting herself. She's not an artist. She's not a writer.
I also don't think Martina's IQ is the issue here. She might very well be smarter than all the other CG thots combined. The issue is her motivations and interests. She can do long division, but can she go on
@FROG's livestream and hold a discussion without sounding like Anna (IOW: can she hold a CG discussion)?
The cosplay calendar is the embodiment of her turn towards openly pandering for the simp dollar through thottery. She needs a product and she's slowly learned that the vast majority of the CG audience doesn't really give two shits about her lame takes, especially when she elects to turn her camera off during streams. She rode the "OMG, I'm a girl that likes Star Wars" train about as far as it can go. Only thing left for her to do is put on some spandex, push those puppies up and give the simps something to think about when they're alone (which is probably often).
This observation about Anna dovetails nicely with what I just said about Martina. Same logic at play.
