While I find UmbrellaGuy shockingly amoral at times, even I have to give him the benefit of the doubt that he didn't knowingly expose his daughter to pedophiles for $5-10 superchats and only did so out of greed-fueled stupidity.

Plus, it is funnier to believe that. The alternative is just horifying.

Main part of TUGs cowness is how boring he is: His videos sound like an AI scrapped the news, came up with a script then used the "Hillbilly pedo" voice preset to make a video of and upload on Youtube. People are outraged by NFTs but TUG videos probably destroy more of the environment and are equally useless.
Then you get to his twitter spats, gayops, Lola and their general amorality and it sort of becomes funny for a moment then it returns back to meh.

TUG continued to angrily and publicly rail against his KF archenemy for years in what was some choice TUG-vs-little person action; his wife would drip-drop his dox through her catfish account (either at TUG's behest or not), and completely unrelated people who shared the name would be reflexively banned by TUG on suspicion of being TLM.

Eventually though as TUG moved on from doing pointless retarded embarassing crap in Weeb Wars to be a full-time boring Johnny Depp gossip pedder, @TheLaughingMan too moved on from a-logging TUG to enjoy what were to be the final years in his all-too short life with things like being a creepy human laugh track for the Trash Compactor show, and a-logging @Mecha II. TUG has decided to use his daughters heart condition to sell books. I wish no ill will on his daughter and hope she comes through all of her heart problems just fine, but I think its pretty fucked up TUG is using this to sell books. Also, the tweet includes a picture of his daughter that I cropped out.

I took a nice hike through palm desert this morning too after watching the elegant Spaniard Rafael Nadal take down Australian clown Nick Kyrgios yesterday. It's so great. These guys should get outside more and enjoy life too.

Boring isn't very cowish. His peak cowness was in 2019. During the height of Weebwars. That's the problem. I think he's downright mellow these days, by comparison.

TUG tried to sell the absolutely asinine mailbox story to people, and it made him look like an attention whore with serious credibility issues. I think he figured if he connected his duct taped mailbox falling down in the wind (most likely explaination) to Renfamous, he'd get additional sympathy bucks off the back of Weebwars. Remember that Renfamous involved herself in both CG and WW.

Problem was, he was already on thin ice with a lot of weeb warriors because they found him annoying AF, and they saw through how he was using the Vic Mignogna case to grift. TUG doesn't give a shit about anime, and weebs read manga. It was obvious to a lot of us he was only there for one reason.

That's, incidentally, why his thread even exists in the first place. It started out as a containment thread for his stupid mailbox. I'm not kidding.

What's funny is that his grift actually came back to haunt Comicsgate, in a way:

In response to Alex Garcia's question here: The impression I got was that he was brought on for the limited purpose of shitting on Spectre. IIRC, he messaged or chatted Ethan that he was seething as Spectre refused to answer their questions as to whether he was stolen valor. Wiggle is an Army vet. I dunno if that means he's going to be a regular fixture on Ethan's shows or not. These guys might be making a mountain out of a molehill.

BTW, I'll just say the fact that that Ethan seems wholly disinterested in having Spectre hang around CG earns my respect. I can pretty much guarantee you after his falling out with Vikki, him trying to get in good with CG was absolutely going to be his next move. If he's not wanted by CG or anti-CG, he'll hopefully just fuck off.

And nothing of value would be lost (for either side).

Nothing short of her non-personing of EVS would have been good enough for Nerdrotic and that wasn't going to happen. Gary is that kinda guy and it was all a fait accompli as soon as it was clear EVS had the potential to embarrass Gary at any point, even (and probably) without even really meaning to. Gary doesn't seem to tolerate rivals in his midst very well and I suppose when you're a guy like him and you have a learning disability or brain damage or whatever you develop coping mechanisms to prevent becoming a clown (and it's a bit more like aggressive office politics rather than the practiced and routine self-deprecating humor that he does, apparently) or maybe it's normal California-style petty neurosis that a "non-industry", non-San Franciscan wouldn't get. Whatever it is, many such cases.
