Debatable which is worse: Thinking Anna and Nicki Clyne are your favorite women on the Internet, or putting Anna on the same strata as a woman who spends her days pining on the Internet (on Twitter, and her website) for her cult master who will be spending the next 120 years in federal prison. I would certainly hope Anna could never get that bad (in B4 jokes about @FROG starting a CG sex cult).

For those that don't know, Nicki Clyne is a a crazy washed-up Canadian actress who was in the Battlestar Galactica reboot, but is NOW probably better known for being a recruiter and capo in the real life NXIVM/DOS sex cult. The same cult that lead to Keith Raniere and Allison Mack going to prison for sex trafficking. She STILL carries a torch for Raniere, and talks about what a wonderful "sorority" that DOS was. It's pretty crazy shit if you ever find yourself going down that particular rabbit hole.

Newfag enough to not know Comic Book Hut was alogging CG years before Mandy Summers showed up, but oldfag enough to know about Team Rags. Very strange. Someone who follows CG wouldn't have made such an easy error, which leads me to believe that this wasn't the work of your average Frog cultist but some other idiot who Hut pissed off in some way at some time.

That doesn't narrow it down much given how Hut burns bridge after bridge, but I suspected it was a Nerdette simp since Hut went after her not too long ago. Seeingt a cross-platform trolling attempt as very probable, I just decided to search "team rags + sjw" in twitter which swiftly resolved this mystery.




It turns out that the RAGS team are quite familiar with the account, a well known (to them) and regularly Midnight Cherry alt. Which I guess is a surprise, but not really.


Now for Hut (because I know you're reading this):

Yeah, it's a lot! So basically, I charged $150 for a stuffed box and $40 shipping to Australia. So we're only getting $105 for a stuffed box sent there. We only sold 43 boxes to Australia, which means we only really lost $1935 that would would have kept if those boxes were sold to people in Ohio instead.

We just tell ourselves it's worth taking the loss for the sake of the fans, but moving forward, we have to charge what it costs and just let the consumer decide for themselves.

It's even more VERY successful if you forget that the campaigns for the previous installments of these books brought in a combined $238,652 and just focus on the fact that it made twice as much as Mind Your Business. Zack's star is shining brighter than ever!

I think the main reason these books did so well was because they were direct sequels to previous properties that his customers were invested in. I don’t think a new title would have done so well, especially without EVS promoting it.

While I'm sure it didn't help that there was no sweet Frog promotion for Zack's campaign, I think it's got a lot more to do with Zack's audience just shrinking. We've talked about his questionable decisions and his late fulfillment eventually biting him in the ass and the performance of his last few campaigns seem to illustrate that. "Successful for Zack" once meant a $200k+ effort.

This probably should have been Zack's return to six-figure land. Instead, he merely doubled the take from his last, worst campaign while only bringing in 90 more backers. It's one thing for people to not be interested in his Theosophy crap, but for his return to books people used to support in much larger numbers to rake in less than $64k is kind of startling. And if we're to believe his claim that he spends $25k to make a single black and white comic, he made relatively little money on this.

He also seems very interested in the fact that the campaign brought in 860 backers in nine days. I take this to mean that the average Zacktard paypig has an irrational case of FOMO when it comes to Ya Boi's output, but I'm sure Richard will draw a different, more unlikely, and stupid conclusion.
