I'd been wondering why my mentions were blown up the last day or so.

"Good guy" Doug with his protected tweet thread ranting about me along with the Roilups, Preston Knights, and Was Campaigners like Pan Boy riling them up to attack his competitors. He does it passive-aggressively while talking about how nice of a guy he is and how he only talks about books. His reputation is destroyed cuz people have seen too much.

Sorry, Doug. You've been outed as a gayopper. Now people are seeing the strategy. It's just cowardice because it's done where you think your targets can't respond or see that it's you doing riling people up.

For someone who doesn't do drama, he's super concerned about the Hut's book sales.

You just screenshotted a tweet of HIM, screenshotting a KF post of YOU, talking about devoting your youtube channel to 'dishing the dirt' on HIM. All while YOU project an image of crowd-pleasing professionalism and devout hispanic catholicism. You absolute clown.

I would be far more horrified by Doug's milktoast schemes if it wasn't a massive case of the pot calling the kettle black. If those who lived by the sword weren't now dying by it.

The law of diminishing returns dictates that barring a return of Hutt to the CG dramasphere, there's zero value to be had here. However, if Doug and Jon persist in continuing this feud over the grave of an unlikeable manchild's career, there is potential for lolcow status. Jon is already headed for the non-coveted "Keemstar of CG" title and Catholic Doug is still complaining about drama he helped create for himself while the single biggest cultural conservative upset of the past 50 years in this country just dropped yesterday.

There are greener pastures anywhere you look, stop being bottom feeders. Leave that to the Farms!

Got bored and decided to go to JustSomeGuy's Twitter today and see him sperging about Roe v Wade, people who can't stand Pride Month, and such. Ya know, for a guy who built his channel bashing the woke, he's pretty woke himself. The only difference is he hates it being injected into his capeshit and fantasy hobbit movies.

But as the old saying goes, lie with dogs and rise with fleas. Enjoy your trans black hobbits and race swapped superheroes, ya idiot.

I remember when Smiller put this up on his Twitter and had to be pulled into a @FROG Livestream, with multiple other people, to discuss how "problematic" it was to say such things and take such stances in comicsgate. Fast forward a few years and Frog is doing a multiple day victory lap when it comes to Roe v Wade being overturned, with new song and all(I will say that song is pretty catchy). I have to wonder if Smiller waits till now to make his infamous tweet, is it really a big deal at all? Hell was it really a big deal then?

That was back when the movement looked like it could be a real thing. Now they're resigned to being an outrage grift first and foremost.

No, if Smiller tweeted that out now, we'd just retweet it and laugh.

Times were different then. We had tunnel vision about the scope of the problem, we were under constant scrutiny by activists who were blaming us for all manner of things in an effort to deplatform us from Twitter, YouTube and IndieGoGo, and everyone was anxious all the time.

Smiller kept trolling and giving CG bad PR moments. That thing with Mike Weiringo was particularly fucked up. Asking Mike to reel it in when CG was trying to present itself as a centrist alternative (even though most of us are conservatives) caused a rift with those who just wanted to push back hard from the right against SJWs.

I regret reacting the way I did, which was to publicly scourge Mike. I'd do it differently if I could.
