The only time you hear accents anywhere near Mandy's in the south is when you're talking to really old people (like Depression/WW2 era-ish people in their 80s or 90s) or really, really rural people, and even that depends on the region.
Mandy sounds like she's doing an impression of somebody's meemaw. She's definitely playing it up and people who aren't from the south completely buy it. Even a mild southern drawl can make you sound like you fell off a turnip truck to anyone outside the south and they tend to think all southerners sound like Mandy's cartoonish version of the accent anyway.

I’ll accept all the rainbows and autism tags you’ve got for this, but this Mandy Summers thing seems like a non story to me. Here’s why.
1. Barely a fucking one of these CG and CG adjacent books bares so much as a passing resemblance to an original idea.
2. It’s straight out of the 90s Image playbook, and there isn’t a single element of the 90s Image playbook EVSCG doesn’t slobber all over.
So if I’ve got this straight, Clint Helinski worked on the Tidal Wave Witchblade ripoff, left Tidal Wave, and then went somewhere else with the creative freedom to do what he wanted etc etc etc …and made a new Witchblade ripoff with Mandy Dale et all? Shiver me timbers.
Maybe I’ve been cynical but it seemed to me Mandy Summers’ quasi-official job in CG is to Stan Lee it up in front of the cameras so the CG slum tier projects she puts her name on can overperform. Based on this assessment I’ve liked her; I tend to like the weirdo shit in the slums much better than the mainline titles anyhow. Far as I can see she’s on the side of the angels. But then there’s the matter of the plagiarism/pedo mud slinging.
As a scrupulous person it troubles me to see anyone publicly dragged for sins they haven’t committed. More or less. But let’s face it, these politicized who/whom games have been the order of the day for so long, I don’t think you’re going to see many people clutching pearls over it. As I recall, one of the most divisive topics on the dissident right has been, and continues to be, whether or not to use the Alinsky playbook against Alinskyites. Insomuch as the soyfaced Tidal Wave crew keep squealing “racist” at the boilerplate redneckisms in Ballerland, Ballers fans will be happy to tell them to get fucked whether they’re in the wrong or not. And I bet you there’s plenty more who won’t lose any sleep rallying behind a Shanesuit versus Disney, because fuck Disney.

This is why I think it would be funny if Tidalwave sued Mandy. Take CG out of the equation entirely, and give her a consequential assessment of her conduct. I think she's get a harsh lesson that the real world ain't Comicsgate. I can only imagine some 70 year old judge sifting through this crap, and potentially 6-12 random people who don't want to be there, think this comic book shit is gay, and hold down normal day jobs that don't involve flashing their tits for superchats.
Of course, knowing KF's luck, somebody on Tidalwave's side will fuck shit up, and Mandy will win. But a guy can dream, can't he?

To be fair to Martina, I think she could take some pretty righteous shots at the CG thot parade, and people here would love to read what she has to say (they ain't exactly liked in this neighborhood), but she's gonna have to put on her big girl panties and do it herself. Simping or white knighting for chicks on KF is a major faux pas. I was listening to the Babylon Bee podcast with Gabe Eltaeb a few weeks back, and recently I was on the Fediverse and people were bringing up the DC woke garbage. I bought up the podcast and the new comic book he was working on. When searching for it, I found the dead Indiegogo page and when trying to find more info, all I found was this thread. Does anyone know what's going on with Eltaeb's indie comic? Is DC trying to stop it over the Superman phrase?I know there has been some talk about people building their own crowdfund sites and maybe jumping ship from IGG recently, so I thought this may further the conversation here. I just saw that Gaybe Eltaeb's campaign for Truth, Justice, and the American Gay is under review by IGG at the moment and not accepting contributions. I checked Gaybe's Twitter, but he isn't talking about it. Also, I'm not sure if this could be an IGG thing or be because of the fued between Gaybe and the co-creator David Williams.

It is more than likely due to Eltaeb and his co-creator threatening to sue each other over the comic. This is only speculation since neither creator has officially said why it's down. I looked and the potential lolsuit is discussed around pages 2009-2012. I know @MuppetSlaughter did a few good post about it on page 2012 before he went full retard.
It's been over a year. Yes she came in with the thots of simp cast via Anna TSWG. Comicsgate was practically founded by another Charlottesville rioter Richard C Meyer so why not ? I think the story is that Jon Malin bullied her away from JACK show but I read that in a post here, you think I can stomach 4+ hours of this shit?:

He had a fallout with the co-creator and artist of Truth Justice American Way, David Williams (Gabe was never the sole creator) over creative differences. David's original concept involved the cancelled superheroes' sidekicks being killed. Gabe refused to script the scene because he "won't kill kids". Williams refuses to budge. Eltaeb said his role as scriptwriter made WIlliams contractually obligated to draw what he orders him to. William submits the art of the sidekicks getting killed anyway. Eltaeb locks Williams out of the campaign and announces that he'll be drawing as well as coloring the book. Customers and a handful of CG creators start to ask what the fuck is going on. Eltaeb sperged out, calls Williams a thief and posted pics of his stillborn kid to justify his refusal to depict dead kids. Now Indiegogo has locked down TJAW for reasons that have not been made clear but are not hard to guess either, such as a complete divergence from what was originally promised to backers as well as potential litigation.
When the individual lady simpmongers organized among themselves and the script flipped from "getting simps to back comics" to "getting comic backers to become simps". Venti networked with Anna to get on big CG streams despite hating comics and hating comics fans to help build her youtube channel. In return for this service the lonely, vulnerable, middle aged panelists like Kelsey and Cecil get a rare opportunity to interact with a female. One thing all of this culture war stuff has taught me is that subversion is never a one way street.
Anyways, since accusations of fake sexual exploitation are being thrown about because of Venti, I'd like to (re)ask @TheAlchemist about the Simpcast's own right-wing #MeToo cries from May of last year. Going on about "Right wing casting couches" and such. What makes their claims any different from Elisa Bleu's? As a show of good faith Martina please accept this gif to do with what you will.
