She's a fixture on Simpcast. Simpcast is, for all intents and purposes, an adjunct of CG. It's been that way since the very beginning. Chrissy Mayr put that thing together out of "geek girls" drawn from FNT and CG a little more than year ago. Later, Venti was brought in around episode 2 or so. While Venti doesn't seem to give a single solitary fuck about comics, she does have big tits and the right politics. Like it or not, those pay bigger dividends than an encyclopedic knowledge of Spiderman.

I suppose if you wanted to be pedantic you could say that Venti herself is more "CG adjacent." Contrasted against the likes of Anna and Mandy, who are more "CG proper." I don't think it really changes the equation as to what Simpcast is though. IIRC, FROG has never required you to have a comic in order to consider yourself part of CG. You just have to toe the line. Which they're all too happy to do for the money and attention.

Overall, their gambit seems to be parasitically attach themselves to whatever dominated nerd movement they can and syphon money off from it. CG is the main one. Weebwars was another (although not nearly as male dominated given all the Vic fangirls), but they came into that shit pretty late and that well is all but tapped out now. Few people in Weebwars seemed to care about them.

One of the things that blows my mind is the fucking show is called SIMPcast.

And people watch it.

And give them money.

The humiliation is the same psychology used by the pyschopath EVS. It's the same principle a hypnotist uses to find the easily hypnotizable, the bullying implication of the grifters is used to weed out people who can think for themselves. When I call their fans and paypigs sad fat lonely men and fatherless losers, I'm not kidding. Yeah, I have to say Fowler is speaking truth to power here. God bless him. I just wish he'd have expanded his criticism of Mandy into the pedo crap. That's the even more insidious dishonesty on display. The whole Gemshock thing stinks. We're barely two months into the year, and already we've had to endure stupid REALITY BENDING defenses for two CG fuckups: Mandy and Zack. If this is the trajectory for 2023, my brain is gonna be mush by Summer.

It's after Finatra and the liam soundalike bullshitting about it but when EVS arrives he does the usual fake af song and dance along with playing dumb but when he starts his realtalk it gets interesting. While still defending the absolutely indefensible he pushes the new CG line which is that this is a Clint Hilinski sin not a Many or Dale sin. If that is the line they take now then Clint is fucked. It alibis Many and Dale and hangs Clint out as the red meat for the lawyers. Poor l'il Many dint know nuthin y'all!
Except a year ago or whenever it was when Herogeek went after them they claimed ownership, and Dale Keown just did again on twitter so they really need to keep the lies consistent.
Otherwise whatever attorney Tidal Gays went to is gonna eat them alive.
As for all the tu quoquo by Finatra, liam soundalike and EVS, that is a terrible look for the pushers of battlefrog, inglorious pacific rim and starlight kitties.

Why is Clint fucked? Unless they signed a legal contract outlining the fudge in precise detail, it's still Mandy's name on everything as the publisher, owner, creator, producer, employer and manager of all of these projects. That's what the courts care about when determining who owes what. Deliberately doing this is such a terrible idea that it makes me skeptical that Mandy knowingly walked into this aspect of the grift, and thought it was merely putting her name on comics (which is still bad). I mean, she might try to sue Clint Hilinski later to recoup her losses, but that's a whole different case. And good luck with that.

If I had known about this ahead of time, I might have actually called in to direct the conversation towards Mandy's pedo accusations. That's where Fowler fell down. FROG still hasn't addressed it. Everybody is focused on the alledged IP theft, and while I agree that's a hot topic, it's overshadowed by another one that puts CG in an even worse light IMO. As it happened, Finatra's streams are usually pretty boring (and overly long), and I plum forgot he even had a show.

I think it's pretty clear why FROG is loathe to discuss that other issue. There is NO defense for what Mandy is doing here. None. Not even a bad one. Mandy is straight up talking out her ass in order to SMEAR Tidal.

Remember when Edwin implied that showing a 16 year old Heather Swain in bra and panties was catering to pedos? Nearly everybody in this thread... including people like @9th legion centurion 002 and vikkiverse (who make no secret their utter distain for Ethan)... basically told Edwin he's barking up the wrong tree.

Hell, @Newman's Own defended FROG on that one, and that guy was arguably the biggest FROG alog this thread has ever seen.

Yeah, well, I guess that's a one way street. Mandy gets a free pass to go full retard on Tidal when the main character isn't even underage and the book is pretty clearly about combating sexual predators.

Quick question: somewhere around the 6:03-6:04 mark when they're discussing the Mandy theft Adam Post's name is mentioned by somebody and Frog immediately interrupts to say that was completely different because Adam Post was buying other people's work and passing it off as his own. Well yeah that's different than stealing someone else's IP but exactly the same as Mandy's CG grift since Day 1. She's acquiring other people's characters, ideas and art and just slapping her big titties on the marketing to sell it. What's the difference with that aspect and Adam Post (besides the titties)?

If I had to guess, it's because Mandy draws somewhat of a crowd (see aforementioned tatas encased in a pushup bra), whereas I'm pretty sure nobody ever really gave much a shit about Post even in the best of times. I think Dongs is correct that jettisoning Post was probably not a difficult decision at all. Even with tribalism, you can engage in some pruning. He was a weed by CG standards. Which says a lot about how low you have to be when you consider all the goofy people that remain in CG. Mandy included.

I think it’s because if he gives Mandy the boot then he gets on bad terms with Dale who a lot of people both CG and non CG still like. Imagine the winfall it would be for Ethan if he could publish the Pitt omnibus under All Caps Comics and the CG banner.

I remember a Hail Salad episode where Ethan was killing everyone in CG, that was prophetic as to what CG is, a bunch of people being sacrificed for ethan to gain more Power / Money / Clout. Perhaps why Hail salad guy is no longer on Ethan's chan, or any of his episodes.

What do you mean? Mandy paid them for their work right? So did Adam Post. Neither came up with any of the ideas, they pay other people for that and market it with their name on it.

Watching Finatra and his gay crumb maidening during that 5 hour 20 minute mark performance, it was interest that Dyebeard EVS refused to support their crowdfunded whateverthefuck. He said he couldn't in case it was based on something from the 1980s and he would get into trouble.
That is interesting not so much because EVS didn't want to lend support to pathetic cucks who already lick his boots and who can do nothing for him, as because it's another line of attack on his own followers who have served their purpose. It motivates them to attack the victim of the IP theft.

Attacking victims? CG attacking victims? That's unheard of!

But it also excuses Dyebeard basically ignoring CG slums and the losers within it completely from now on. He already has their loyalty, why should he work for it.
