Bit of follow-up on the JACK show.
A few days ago Cecil held a now-privated livestream on his channel and rolled out the carpet for Jon Malin. This was a delicate, critical piece of fencemending and required total control of the environment on Cecil's part. Not invited was the potential stream destroying presence of a capricious Anna. Also not invited was the potential movement destroying presence of a bored Frog. On hand was a menagerie of the
Cash Grab fundraiser's meticulously curated retinue of internet freaks like Cripp Daddy, that dollfucker guy and
Sheila Aliens. Overall it took on an affect that resembled nothing if not Xerxes' tent from
300, something that no doubt greatly pleased 'da Coach'. I couldn't be fucked to watch the whole thing and can't revisit it now, but the effort was by and large successful as the two fondly reminisced over 'the fight' from last week.
That was followed by this week's episode of the
JACK show hosted on Cecil's channel, where Anna was conspicuously absent and substituted with Sheila. Now admittedly Sheila mostly sits on her ass and contributes nothing with her camera off, but that and the absence of Anna's devoted orbiters apparently elevated the episode to GOAT status. He did the Oxmaul voice and everything, which was apparently the highlight of the stream. Admittedly, I didn't fully watch this one either although it's still up.
You know a scene has terminal cancer if Cecil can be considered in a "non-simp" faction.
Time will tell if this becomes a permanent split or not and if Anna and Cecil will share joint custody of Malin and Chokeout in the divorce.
02/24/2023 - COMICARTISTPRO SECRETS - OH YEAH COMICSGATE LIVESTREAM YEAH
Shiela Aliens swings the hat trick as she is present in this stream as well, the only person apparently in the CG inner circle willing to efap Simple Zack's Doomcock callout video with Frog. What ensues is some incredibly stilted anti-chemistry as Sheila understandably has stage jitters. Also she has no real strong opinions on the topic one way or another on fandom or pop culture, as she less understandably admits she's never watched Star Wars, Star Trek or for that matter having ever bought a comic in her life before Bloodhoney. Given the lack of anything else to discuss, eventually they start talking about the high latency of Sheila's streamyard setup....
OH YEAH COMICSGATE LIVESTREAM YEAH... before Yellowflash kicks the door in and he's got shit to say. This was something unexpected given that it's been a long time since Flash appeared on Frog's show, and it's only been a week since Frog was ousted from the Flashcast green room. One must assume that relations have improved.
One might also assume that, after the last Ya Boi efap on Frog's where Flash's take was "fuck this idiot, let him die if he's too stupid to live", this one would also be another brutal savaging of Comicsgate's retarded founder. Not so. Flash is here to take umbrage with Doomcock on account of
the following tweet, which he deems to be anti-fan and anti-customer.
Flash's passionately conveyed argument, paraphrased and highly condensed, is as follows:
"LET THE FANS ENJOY WHAT THEY LIKE. YOU DON'T TALK TO THE FANS LIKE THAT. THIS FUCKING BITCH DICKRODE JON FAVREAU OVER THE MANDELORIAN BUT IF SOMEONE LIKES STAR TREK HE FUCKING LOSES HIS SHIT. LET THE FANS ENJOY WHAT THEY LIKE. YOU DON'T TALK TO THE FANS LIKE THAT. I WENT INTO DOOMCOCK'S STREAM TO CALL HIS HYPOCRITICAL BULLSHIT OUT. LET THE FANS ENJOY WHAT THEY LIKE. YOU DON'T TALK TO THE FANS LIKE THAT. HE FUCKING BANNED ME FROM HIS CHANNEL THE PIECE OF SHIT. LET THE FANS ENJOY WHAT THEY LIKE. YOU DON'T TALK TO THE FANS LIKE THAT. Frog intrepidly offers a defense of the merits of upholding a boycott in the face of Flash's ultra-populist rhetoric. He for example boycotts Disney, regardless of whether Star Wars is good or not, over Gina Carano's career being cancelled over a tweet. This makes sense on a level of moral consistency: how can he expect people to stand by him being blacklisted by DC Comics if he doesn't stand in solidarity with other creatives and creators being blacklisted from organizations like Disney. To Flash though and his consumer-centric perspective, the welfare of Gina Carano comes second to whether the product being made is actually good or not (although he did make at least 60+ videos about Gina Carano). Unstated is the divide that Doomcock's tweet was in response to Critical Drinker and the FNT crew giving positive reviews of
Picard. Frog and Doomcock have a shared enemy here, and Flash's currying favor with the FNT crowd in the leadup to his long overdue crowdfund launch is also known. But even if these conflicting interests didn't exist, I'd wager neither party would be able to grasp one another's point of view; the divide between creator and consumer being that strong. Flash reiterates his stance on the matter several more times before, having vented, acquitting himself of the stream on the grounds of "just repeating myself at this point". After this, Billy Tucci, Robert Romano and 2023's answer to Micah Curtis, Jimmy Reyes get together to efap some of Doomcock's and Mark Millar's videos. I didn't watch these either so someone else will have to tell me what happened.
