Cómo hacer Ancas de rana fritas:

It's 26,200 books. I'm not paying installments. I had $1.45Million to cover the campaign costs and shipping. Everything is expensive, but it's all paid for. Printers don't agree to print projects like this piecemeal. You have to establish your quantities, they'll give you a price, and they want it all upfront before they begin.

In this case, the book was so heavy that the binding was a problem, and it caused delay after delay. I complained, so they sent me 6 copies of everything to show me progress, then 200 copies of each cover so I could begin fulfillment, and then here, on February 14th, the entire shipment that was paid for.

As for the cover gig, it's not a big deal. It's a favor. I will get paid for it, but the reason I'm doing it is to reconnect with an important person in mainstream comics, and to troll my enemies.

But really, when you find out what it is, you won't care.

I dunno. @FROG has always been about the shekels, and has never been shy about saying so. More power to him, I guess. Then again, I'm not somebody who gave him money years ago for something that remains undelivered. Then again (again) anybody dumb enough to have given him money in the past year to year and a half should also have no illusions about what they're getting into.

What I'm a little curious about is who this mainstream mystery comic publisher is. Once this is made public I imagine we'll have a bountiful harvest of sperging from the usual suspects to laugh at, hopefully ending with a heartfelt, groveling Walk to Canossa tier apology (which will not be accepted) ending with cancellations all around. AFAIK the anti-CG types haven't exiled one of their own lately, so the hivemind must be jonesing for that most divine of dopamine hits, the moral purity test. Can't be Stalin without a Trotsky somewhere.

The recipe shit is pretty funny. More amusing than the usual KPop gif spam, at any rate. At least nobody is demanding one way helicopter rides on Air Pinochet.
