I also hate the rewriting of history. At some point Dr Ben showed a page from his book, where he included July in a list of people that were getting attacked for political reasons (along with Mandy Summers, lmao). The way he justified it was that he used to think people were attacking July for political reasons, but now (that EVS is anti-July) he thinks they were attacking him because he is a dummy.

Yes, I'm sure Vito, Vikki, Actual Fandom, etc had no other motive, they were just true and honest critics all along.

That and hearing the Patrick dude (an amateur from what I could see) say he doesn't want to do digital for purity reasons made me roll my eyes.

Richard C. Meyer's attitudes towards pricing and digital really fucked with a lot of young creators' heads.
 
To be clear, I am not one of the people claiming "Katy fucks dogs." I think the decent thing to do is presume she doesn't, absent proof she does. Even though I love a good "white girls fuck dogs" joke as much as the next Kiwi.

However, the lengths team anti-July is going to obfuscate what this is really about amuses me greatly.

From what was posted here earlier, it was a picture of a demonic dog-like creature raping a small child, that she either drew or at least shared (not sure which). Funny how that gets lost in all this, and Vito goes out of his way to not bring that up. No, she wasn't just "looking at Inuyasha porn."

I dunno how anybody can stomach Vito, or anybody else pushing the narratives he does.

The dog fucker narrative is just jokes bro. A hyperbolic encapsulation of a longer, less funny truth, but a story still degenerate enough to deserve mockery.

Like when the Cooch and his simpletons railed for months, ad nauseum, about a Con meet-up that they didn't attend, as payback because nobody listened to his command to boycott Kickstarter. Railing which ultimately resulted in x number of creators being drummed out of CG for getting tired of the totally-just-kayfabe ribbing and the dispatching of ball-cradling Kangz lackeys into their streams to shit up those creators' chats with accusations of being "traitors" among other unnamed "I'm not telling but you totally know what you're guilty of" offences.

Gotta have a thick skin if you're gonna play with the big boys. Can't have precious primadonnas canceling people for liking a tweet or sperging out for weeks of livestreams because you're getting outperformed in every relevant metric by newcomer competitors. No true CG scotsman would do something like that.

Yeah, I wish Doug's political grift would collapse so he would give us continuations of EWJ and Bigfoot Bill, but the problem is - he's too good at it. There's a good chance he'll end up becoming a mainstream political bullshitter. The cynic in me thinks that anyone good enough to make good comics is too good to make comics. Maybe that's not a general rule, but part of the industry spiraling the drain. The people remaining are mostly either side-giggers or hacks. There's no reason comics shouldn't be an industry where everyone has the work ethic of Eric July and the talent of DougT.

Fair enough, but didn’t Tennapel deliver his books on time? I don’t remember anyone complaining about the EWJ or Bigfoot Bill fulfillments being years (or even months) late. And at this point he’s put out more titles than Ethan has.

No, and I get it to some extent. I'm not trying to bust anybody's balls here. Like I say, I'm aware of the long running "white girls fuck dogs" meme. That's been a joke for as long as I can remember. I'm sure not everybody saying it is being serious.

The issue you need to be aware that of is the anti-July crowd is gonna try to focus in on the dog fucking claim, whether it be made facetiously or otherwise, and demand people prove she actually did. Then claim victory if/when people can't.

This is being done in order to deflect away from the actual facts she's doing reviews on fanfiction about underage characters and bestiality, and drew or shared that image. It's not coincidental they are steering clear of all that and only forcing on the one thing they think they can win on.

Regardless of whether she actually fucks dog or not, it sure seems she's got some sort of peculiar interest in that area.

I guess what I'm saying is, be aware of the tactics at play here.

Also, judging by the image that was shared here earlier, that looked like a very young Rin. But I'm sure she's 5,000 years old and I'm wrong. It's not like I can check her ID.

Anyways, don't needlessly bash your head up against the wall over this. I don't think it even really matters. Is this bitch even relevant in the grand scheme of things?

It strikes me the biggest source of heartburn for all these people is July keeps getting Ws. That seems like it would be the case regardless of what weird shit Katy is into.

Again, I think Doug had a good future in comics if he really wanted it. Unfortunately, he decided to go the Q-Anon fueled political commentary route. Some people say he's a good streamer, but decent streamers are not in short supply. Decent comic book artists are.

Oh well. His choice.

I’m not going to argue with you on that. I don’t recall her jive talking, but if you do.🤷🏻‍♂️ I said shit about the 3-d assets when it first came out, but I didn’t order any of his stuff and didn’t listen to him before, so I got no dog in that fight and I try to avoid the rippa hate train.

I remember there being an issue with over sea backers, Doug lost allot of money, Late back then was a year and a half, damn near next day delivery compared to @FROG's standard.

That is true and I definitely agree with your take here.

We saw that exact thing in the Fowler rant that finally finished him off in CG.
He had 4 or 5 solid points about Hotwife Mandy that EVS and simps couldn't argue, but he went a bridge too far in quoting verbatim a kiwi post where they accused her of having a fake (not just exaggerated) "mee-maw" accent.

Ethan promptly ignored the obvious and well-known IP theft, hotwife pic past, Ritter blackmail etc. and homed in on the accent claims. He then used that debunking to dismiss all of the rest of Fowler's claims in one fell swoop.

So definitely the Babbys First Debate-level tactics of the anti-July speds will eagerly accept the 'falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus' premise when it serves their purpose to defend the (alleged) dog fucker.

Never watched it. Only heard about it in the last few weeks. But this is the usual reply in regard to that anime. Supposedly Anna loved the anime even more than YellowFlash. Not sure if she's been getting attacked or had to defend anything yet though.

I mean, technically, he's not wrong that there's some sussy-baka shit in anime. I don't know what YF is into, so I couldn't tell you how much he's projecting.

The issue is that there's plenty of evidence Vito is into sussy-baka shit himself. So I dunno how he expects this to help him.

As for projection, one of the reasons he's probably grumpy is that, just the other day, Epik formally retracted what they said about the Farms hosting CSAM. Null will be getting a certified copy of their retraction. He and Dick were really hoping to smear the Farms with that, and now they can't.
