I’d disagree. He acts like all the popular internet figures. He’s just really bad and making that into good drama/reaxt content cause he’s way too old and out of the loop on it. July on the other handvis very good at it and used it to launch and sustain his book career in the down time.

He's doing what the popular people do but badly? Kind of like a less popular version you would say? I really don't think Ethan is looking at million+ subs youtubers and doing what they do. That would be chasing success. He grew the channel emulating the OG Comicsgate channels which "Ya Boi Zack" is the biggest and still sits at only 104K. Since then I have seen him steal bits/absorb parts of the Warcampaign show, Testefy HD, Cecil/Jack Show, Dick Show/BPitU, Ethan Ralph, Frog Tony, Finatra. These range from barely monetized nobodies to sektur infamy. Seriously I don't know how much you watch EVS but he has had this guy TJ Dopeness come on his show more than once. He's from some of the shittier shows listed above and you're not moving on up having this no webcam, avatar only black dude stutter "wait a minute" and tell stories about his dick.

I don't think EVS gives much of a shit about subs. With him, it's about the money. A point made clear by his ongoing melty over July beating him in that department. He's probably fine with casting himself (wrongly) as a small guerilla movement fighting the good fight.

However, if the superchats ever dry up, that's when you can expect the mother of all meltdowns.

He'll probably start funding races. And make money on the pies/toys. Only issue is he'll have to eventually find a driver that can actually place now and then.

Might be more, but figure ~$15,000 a race. $2,000-$4,000 to do the wrap. The rest will be easy money for him. Until that well finally dries up.

He has sperged many, many times in the past about his subs stagnating. He even suggested YouTube conspiracies against wholesome conservative streamers like himself. YouTube was always a marketing vehicle for him and nothing more.

I don't doubt he cares about the subs a little. I just don't think that's his primary concern. He'd be happier with small subs and many paypigs, as opposed to more subs with less paypigs.

IMO his philosophy has been the more subs the bigger the net to catch more paypigs and he'd be right. The odds of attracting a lifestyle-sustaining batch of paypigs increases the higher the view count.

The corallary is also true though. Even with a bazillion subs if they're all retards none will have the money to be paypigs

If you even suspect that EVS is making a threat, trust me: it's a threat. You are either with him 110% or you are his mortal enemy. I love the fact that he has to bite his tongue when he has people like Mike Baron and Graham Nolan on, Inside, I guarantee he HATES those guys now for not going FND on Eric July.

I also see that @FROG is back to dying his beard. I love that he doesn't realize how much of a jackass that makes him look like.
