I explained that I do not believe he brought Liam back because of you, and explained why I think he brough Liam back. He needs warm bodies for the anti-July jihad. He is obsessed with July. I think everybody here sees that.

Why is he not on Trashcast lately? I have no fucking idea. Maybe FROG has grown bored of him? Maybe he remembered what a sperg Liam is? Maybe (but probably unlikely) even Liam realized at some point this total nigger death bullshit that FROG has been doing is gay as fuck?

With Dongs seemingly not coming back, and all the gross shit going on against EJ (say what you want about the man, but nobody deserves Diddler Dax, Piss Salad, and Riley), I hope somebody just nukes this faggot Comicgate shit into the ground already. It's just not fun anymore. It's sad. And gross. And lame.

Yea he is definitely missed. I just hope that he left because he was legit just done. I hope it wasn't an unfortunate situation in his life(i.e. death in the family, major accident, etc).

Maybe it got too gross for him too. I know he thought July was a bit of a buffoon, but he seemed way too decent to support the shit that's been going on lately.

Before you used to be able to laugh at at least most of this shit. It's getting harder and harder now.

CG needs to die already.

EDIT: I sent Dongs a message some months back, inquiring if he was okay, because I was worried. Did not get a reply. I pray he is okay.

I would argue it is already dead. The Austro-Hungarian empire was pretty much dead, but took losing WWI fully end it. NAZI Germany was dead, but took Hitler self deleting and Berlin falling to fully end it. All CG is lacking is that final defining moment that we can look back and say "it's ded". Who knows when that will happen. Hell the Berlin Wall fell in 1989, but the Soviet Union didn't fully fall until 1992.

After thinking about the NAZI Germany thing, you could almost equate the Germans using kids and the elderly to defend Berlin to Frog pulling in people like Leem back into CG to fight the evil black comic guy.

If there's a single, final moment that could bury the walking corpse of ComicsGate once and for all my guess is that it would have to be IGG finally cracking down on accounts with multiple unfulfilled campaigns. I'm not sure if that'll ever happen but if enough people raise a stink, who knows? CG is already slowly bleeding out from multiple wounds, but that's the only thing I can think of that would decapitate it in one go.

Ethan, Malin & co. have burned the Kickstarter bridge and I highly doubt any of the rest of the Kangz would want to try going into business with Ethan on some sort of CG Rippasend type fulfillment scheme.

Are there many others beyond EVS and maybe Zack? Seems like the majority of them have the one campaign they took the money and run on or pretend to be working on 3 or more years later.

My sides would explode if IGG cracked down on CG and some of the big names in CG ever got on-board with Rippasend itself. FROG would rage forever.

It's highly unlikely though.

First of all, I don't think IGG gives a shit as long as they get their cut.

Secondly, I would think July would force them to develop a work ethic that FROG never forced them to. They'd hate it.

All it would take is them dropping the hammer on Ethan for the entire thing to collapse. Most of the CG guys would probably be safe since they tend to ship an actual product more or less when they say they will. If they crack down and the only victims are EVS and Zack, it's the end of CG with a poetic flourish.

IGG may only care about their cut but I'd bet they also care about bad PR. Ethan has grifted millions of dollars through their platform and there have to be thousands of backers out there who are pissed about the way shit's been going. Watching Ethan waste his time chimping out over Rippa instead of getting his books done probably pissed off enough of them to do something simple like start a hashtag campaign on X detailing exactly what noted racist and neo-Nazi sympathizer Ethan Van Sciver has been up to on IGG.

And I think the CG Kings who were left behind probably wouldn't have a problem with developing a work ethic to get books out in a timely fashion. Guys like Lopresti, Nolan, and Tucci can probably meet their deadlines without even trying.

That's why I'm convinced it was one part to troll me, one part to show "I got the juice to make any campaign go."

And there's no way Liam will do anything other than suck up for Doinokang 2. No other way he's gonna fund.

I took a year+ break from anything CG related and checking back in, I notice Frog now refers to the movement in the past tense. He didn't used to do that. It's subtle enough you might not have noticed the change if you watch consistently.
