Why not just ask him directly about watermarking in the middle like scores of other people do with promotional material instead of some weird call-out post? And c'mon Meyer, let's not pretend he doesn't have dedicated a-logs fucking with his comics. Might as well make them work a little if they're gonna do that.
Isn't Zack in the middle of plagiarizing/making bootlegs of other peoples work? Maybe he's upset that he can't use Eric July in his collages.
Meyer is swinging wild. This random commenter is suddenly disingenuous because he didn't directly name one show as being good (deemed by Meyer's taste of course)
"doesn't fit your narrative" is a weird phrasing to use when talking about the quality of fucking star trek streaming shows. Meyer is so brain broken by the "culture war" he thinks this is actual politics. Did anyone even watch Strange New Worlds?

Did anyone even watch Strange New Worlds?
No, no one did, which means the retarded flea-market clown Zack did, which means he was ENLIGHTENED to exceptional art, and thus it was good and you're doing yourself a disservice not dedicating your hours to watching this shit show.

It's called protecting your IP Zack, I know it's hard to believe because no one gives a fuck about your artour graphic novellas but some people think what they do is a business to them and they protect their assets. Why do you give a fuck? The watermark won't be there on the finished product. Is your new vagina not sitting well? Is that why you're just itching for fights across the whole of Youtube pop culture commentarysphere?

"Please call me out Daddy Drinker, I would HATE being given attention like this from your massive audience. Please oh pleas--cough"
Or maybe he actually takes offense to this because he's now turning into THE creator with late books? What're you so afraid of Zack?

I thought Meyer didn't have problems with Eric. Why not just ask him directly about watermarking in the middle like scores of other people do with promotional material instead of some weird call-out post? And c'mon Meyer, let's not pretend he doesn't have dedicated a-logs fucking with his comics. Might as well make them work a little if they're gonna do that.

Is that youtube community post or something? Is that where he posts? So that he's in his own bubble and doesn't have to 'fight' with people who'd see how retarded he is?

yeah the youtube community posts is like the hive of scum and villainy in youtube, no one really goes there unless you are mentally ill

Star Trek expert here. Strange New Worlds about half the episodes are watchable, then there's a lot of cringe too. Compared to Picard / Discovery it's brilliant, but still if ranking Star Treks (outside the movies) you gotta go:
1. Original Series
2. DS9
3. TNG
4. Enterprise
5. Voyager
6. The Orville
7. Vic Mignona's fan fic series
8. That other guy's fan fic series he was making at the same time Vic was
9. Prodigy
10. Strange New Worlds
11. Picard
12. Lower Decks
13.. Discovery

it's not brilliant by any means. Zack's standards seem to be making 6 or 7 out of 10s into 10/10s in his minds to gotcha the "birthday clowns".

Maybe Zack is also spiraling because mark millar came and offered narwhal work. Now Zack can’t color narwhals art with highlighters like he did in the 499.

I think it's more of an existential mid-life crisis where he's seeing his dream of do-nothing comic book creator wealth disappearing, no chance of being hired in the mainstream and zero marketable skills in any other fields to start over with.

TL;DR: Van down by the river.

He's gonna come out as gay. I'm convinced of it now.
This whole stunt is to prime a new audience of proLGBTs and he's gonna have a come to Black Jesus moment and cry:
"Guys [cough cough] [sniffle] I have been so wrong... [cough cough] All this time I was fighting myself, not [cough cough] Gail Simone and Heather Antos. [sniffle] [sob] I've been gay this whole time."
His Hail Mary play to get into the industry. He saw all the lesbians getting hired for their identity, and decides to quit mocking the identity pimping.

That would be hilarious, I means it’s worked wonderfully for Joe Glass.

@FROG I love how there’s not a single, redeeming factor in your character, like loyalty for instance.
You’re goading your helmet-tier-tard friend into attacking a man whose audience isn’t fleeing like he’s California.

All you’re going to do is get him (rightfully) cooked by your superior. Just wear Eric’s skin already, quit dragging it out.

Meyer's entire YouTube and comic-creating career of the last 6 to 7 years probably perfectly correlates with how his failed relationships with all his babymommas went: Started off promising with this funny and sincere (albeit kinda dweeby) guy promising them a bunch of awesome things in the future if they stuck around. His babymommas [fans] naively believed him and became invested in the relationship [crowfund campaigns]. Things went smoothly for the first few years until the "sowing phase" of the relationship ended and the "reaping phase" began [late books, growing demands for refunds, dwindling viewership]. He still had multiple obligations that he hadn't lived up to [unfulfilled campaigns], but instead of owning up to them and addressing them, he just got bitter and resentful and started looking for external factors to blame/lash out at [his fellow anti-SJWs]. Rather than self-reflect and readjust, he stubbornly stayed the course until the relationship collapsed under his hubris and his babymommas [fans] finally bailed.

Rinse and repeat until Meyer's produced a handful of single-parent households [still unfulfilled campaigns].

If he truly wanted to get into the industry, he should have stuck with Jawbreakers and made his publishing company Image for the right wing and centrists. BUT NOOO! He had to make it "The Zack Show" and only his ideas were allowed. Not only that but, despite having eyes and ears, he fails to notice that a straight white right of center marine is propably the last person Marvel and DC would hire right now. He could have something good going on but his autism and lack of business mentality went in the way.

So Reethan is going to run with this same narrative that the FNT crowd doesn't actually watch the movies they review, lol?

I hope Zack reconnects with EVS and they go full schitzoid cult leaders. (Although I know EVS doesn't believe anything he says.)
Leading a cult is not about believing, it is about making other believe.

He figured out that he can use it like his own personal Twitter where he can control everything.

Zack's concept of IP seems fuzzy at best. He got so fed up with not being able to make Spider-man, Batman and G. I. Joe himself that he's got his whole next IndieGoGo project based on swiping other people's IP for his own use.

Since he killed off the Jawbreakers really early in their run, I think that they mainly existed as a resume to get him into making licensed IPs (specifically G. I. Joe). He doesn't care about his own creations, he cares about making his Batman fanfics canon. In fact, in one of his videos he mentioned a guy who created ashcans of licensed comic book characters he didn't have the rights to and gave them away at conventions (but charged for his signature on them). This was the way that other guy got into the mainstream comic book industry. Hence, Zack's latest project, Comic Book: The Comic Book.

Maybe he'll do that if Eric July gets even more mainstream success like a movie or a Netflix show. I think he really only cares about the big two though. He wanted to rewrite Spawn for Todd McFarlane, but no Spawn covers in Comic Book: The Comic Book. (Maybe when Comic Book: The Comic Book part 2 goes into production.)

Katydogs was live with JJ Trujillo and company to discuss Vito, Tony, Mint and Riley.

She claims she's disappointed in them, and that she had to abandon a DM group and delete it because Vito wouldn't "stop comin' in and goin' on and on".
"This has given Comicsgate a blackeye. People are laughing at us because of this."

Yes, he's finding out that like 99% of people who try and create comics, he can't live off the proceeds. This is true even of most of the people that go in an out of the big two. He's probably made more than most over his run but its petering out.

So what's left? Clout chasing. He's taking a page from Ethan's book and trying to create drama to juice his channel. But I don't see how it works. It hasn't worked for Ethan, he's barely clinging to his audience of hardcore paypigs, he's only lost interest from his fanbase over time. Attacking guys like Nerdrotic is not going to bear fruit. They have surprisingly few active haters and most of those haters are small potatoes and aren't going to want to listen to Zack anyway.

Interesting if true. Maybe this is the norm. But I'm kind of wondering why he's going through Dixon and not the publisher. Perhaps that is how Castalia House is set up. But I seem to recall Dixon saying he's writing three Conan books for Castalia. Not he's going to have three books published by Castalia. So I would think it's Castalia paying Dixon to do the books. Not him submitting them and he gets a percentage of sales. Although that may still be happening either way. And is it normal to do art without a contract?

Beyond that, I'm a little happy they didn't go with Lawlis since I'm not usually a fan of his art. I'm starting to wonder if I have more of an issue with the coloring though.

It’s very funny to see EVS cope and try and make it seem like his constant alogging of Eric July is “fun “ for anyone while Eric is just enjoying his newest actually completed comic being successful.

That makes no sense though for 2 reasons:

1. Those companies do not want his white ass writing comics since they cannot virtue signal using him. That method might have worked in the past but it does not work now and he knows it. Funny thing though, DC got desperate enough to release a Batman slice-of-life sitcom on Webtoon. He had better hopes if he kept waiting for the demise of the Big 2 as opposed to shilling for them.

2. By killing off "Jawbreakers" so he did not show his skills in long term storylines. Who would hire him for less than 5 issues? He wants to write Batman? For how long? How good are his set-ups? His foreshadowing?

Ironic thing is that being indie right now might be better than being mainstream when it comes to salary. How come he thinks otherwise?

Attacking the people he shares the fanbase is never going to be a good idea. Fans chose a side and it was not the one he wanted.

He reminds me of that One Piece character that pretended everything was part of his plan. Lines such as "He did not step on my head, I just headbutted his foot" and the like. Fun indeed.
