My armchair psych take: He subconsciously misses the praise and adulation he got for being the enlightened contrarian who went up against the lying woketards in the establishment and is trying to relive that experience again.

Of course he's a moron and probably doesn't have the self awareness to understand what's driving his own behavior. Would explain this delusional belief that they're lying and faking reviews, why he's picking on larger YouTubers, and why he won't acknowledge that he has provoked the whole thing.

But he could have been. That is the sad part. If only he had a brain capable of understanding that just because you want something one way, it does not mean that is the best way (or even a good way) for continued success. He always abandons things after a while: His families, his careers, his homes and then is left with nothing. This dude has no long term plans. He thinks one can start over every few years till they die.

He needs a sugar mommy. Or someone to take care of him. But even then, he would leave after a while. He lives his life half a dozen years at the time and expects things to work out. He has no family/friends/house/career/savings/plans and expects to live like that.

It's ashame as well.

He had other publishing deals after waid made Antarctic press, so if he managed to sign a deal with another publisher he could've gotten some major deals. Richard is a self sabotaging clown. I'm not sure if he had a career or a job after he left the miltary.
 
Meyer doesn't seem to understand that he's the weird one in this scenario for the months long crusade after being a part of that sphere, especially since he had a book deal with one of them. They don't care about breadtubers, because why give a shit about people who never liked you? Also, "instant and volcanic anger? Get over yourself, you poked at them for months and they briefly made fun of you for being a massive sperg. You wanted attention, you got it.

does he have an example of this "instant and volcanic anger"? drinkers response wasn't exactly "instant" since it came after a couple months of zack posting about him multiple times a day and I wouldn't call it "volcanic anger", was this "instant and volcanic anger" response entirely from the voices in zacks head?

Even going the self-publishing route and starting his own business was not a bad idea. But he did it in such an ass-backwards way that it hurt him. No networking, no hiring people to do titles that are not his own, no trying to get along with people of the industry and fandom and now he started an one-man war with people he shares his audience with.
