That's ok, I backed 2 Cyberfrog books, so I know how you feel. I never backed a Zack book though.
Also, I'd like to address something:

However, I date this behavior back to something else, which was the hype before this movie was released:
Truthfully, I had noticed asshole behavior from before this, for example when he was running defense for Kathleen Kennedy. But Dial of Destiny really made me think, "Wow, this guy is off of his meds." So, the excuse that it was Ed Piskor's death is a lie. I believe Ed Piskor could be alive, hale and hearty and Zack would still be acting like this.
Edit: Also, I think rather than whales he should call them "pay piggies" since this is more like a findom relationship than it is like a gamblers relationship with a casino.

Zack should realize that whales tend to jump ship when you put them into a corner to choose which edaddy to support. There's so much cross pollination between him & the birthday clowns. Yes, I know that I only touched on it a little bit. I guess I fixated on the business loan thing because I can see it being a huge disaster down the line. I have to think that the people who loaned him money really didn't understand the situation.
The stuff about "rewiring the viewers nervous system" was pretty bizarre. The reality is the content that these guy review is mostly bad, so no one has to be "rewired" to hate it. I'm sure that people who watch The Drinker (and the rest) like the rare good movie or TV show that comes out. (Incidentally, when that happens Zack will usually be first in line to say that movie or TV show sucks, because historically he doesn't just like things that suck, he also dislikes things that are actually good.)
His comments on the Drinker's short film just shows how little he understands things: A lot of people who enjoy a Youtube channel won't back anything on Kickstarter or Indiegogo. This is why even if those channels aspire to create creative works, they also like collecting superchats and getting sponsorships. Also, it's perfectly ok to just have a Youtube channel and get sponsored by Tokyo Treat or Nord VPN and that's your job. You don't have to create bad comic books that are funded by Indiegogo. One of the reasons why Zack hates his viewers is because he thinks everyone who views his Youtube channel needs to back his books and that if they don't they are freeloaders. That's because even if he could meet the high sponsorship standards of Raid: Shadow Legends he'd never accept their sponsorship.
As to the article that he couldn't find which said, "You don't need a lot of followers to be successful." Oh sure, if one of your supporters is Pope Alexander (or nowadays, a Saudi Prince) you can live an easy life sculpting and painting without a care in the world. Though I'm pretty sure if Pope Alexander had seen Zack's creative works he'd have sentenced him to burn at the stake for aesthetic crimes against God.
He was BIG MAD that people were expecting Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny to suck. He went through multiple videos berating people for it, acting like they were breaking Harrison Ford's mighty heart and so forth. When he finally actually saw the movie, he didn't really like it. But before he saw it he was ranting about people not giving it a chance in the videos he made about it.

Subscriber numbers are generally fluff, being able to get 5000 people to give you money to make a short-film is pretty impressive regardless of how you feel about the person. And it doesn't seem like drinker even shilled his project that hard, I only found out about it on here.
Now, I've never given money to any of these people, but the way Zack frames his own supporters in this video essentially as pay pigs that will always be there to buy his junk no matter what he does, says, or how embarrassing her gets seems kind of dehumanizing.
But then, I don't really see much difference between guys sending female streamers superchats and giving people like zack and ethan money, unless you genuinely think the comic book is going to be good I guess. I almost backed Expendables, but it seems like most of their supporter don't care about the quality of the books, if they did, I doubt they'd ever make the mistake of giving EVS or Zack money more than once.

That is surprising because AFAIK, Agatha didn't insult its audience like Acolyte did. It just looks like a continuation of the failures of Wandavision, which only aggravates viewers in an MCU lore kind of way, not in a real way.

This is something that none of the major factions slugging it out over culture really explore, because it doesn't serve anyone's purpose. There is not necessarily anything Disney can do "right" anymore. They've done too much damage. It is harder than Zack assumed to calculate how many of his subscribers went silent after his tandrums and purges.
