I hope Zack meant dissing the process of inherited taste through received tradition rather than actually liking something on its own merit instead of throwing shade at Monty Python. I can see how some people might not find MPFC funny, but it would seem odd from Zack, since he's admitted to have been a long time fan of The Kids In The Hall. Perhaps as @StandardizeProfile correctly says on this quote below:

The idea of low-key collaborating with Dynamite was actually quite sound, liberating a lazy @FROG from the drudge of performing the most boring tasks of campaign fulfilling. Unfortunately when the cat was out of the bag, it had to be shut down and crippled EVS' capacity to fulfill even further. Had it continued, CG might have metastasized and perhaps taken over at Dynamite, but it woulda probably been a tall order given the dysfunctional personalities and dynamics within CG.

Wokeness got stronger thanks to Saint Floyd and Biden. The far left were shameless with their woke-commie agenda after 2020, going mask off with everything whether it was in politics, comics, gaming, or prowrestling (it's really bad in wrestling). Hell, the new PM in Japan is actually trying to get all kinds of woke shit over there, so he and the big Japanese corps can get checks from Larry Fink and the UN (migrants are already causing trouble). There's no way this guy really thinks wokeness died when we just had "I am not Starfire" (starring a troll pretending to be Starfire's daughter) and gay Superman protest with Greta Thunberg instead of, I don't know, stopping criminals and evil masterminds.

Normies are waking up to what's going on, and the shitty economy and high crime rates contributed to this. People are tired of what's going on politically, and shitty woke media's only pissing off more people than entertaining them. Wokeness is still strong in things like prowrestling and tabletop, and its.starting to hit other countries like Japan. We just can't lower our guard down like we did pre-2020.

I like both, but I can see Zack hating Python, because they have too many culture references that bounce off of his thick hillbilly skull. Or simply because Python is British and Kids in the Hall are Canadian, and as Zack just told us in one of his latest videos, he hates the British.

Indeed but I think we are doing a good job considering talks about the woke reached Japan's government and people. We might nip in in the bud there. Causing woke game to fail in the west and uproar in the east is a good combo for defeating the woke in my opinion.

Sure but it is as I always say: We only need heads. If you need to have companies stop with the woke, you only need to present enough examples of companies losing everything because of wokeness. Look at BudLight. They never recaptured their old glory after their stunt. Even Disney is rethinking the woke pandering on their stupidly expensive projects. Now than Bamco experienced such a loss with Unknown 9, they might be spooked ever so slightly. Square Enix has lost too much money. In my opinion, if their next big project has less sales with wokeness being sighted as the main culprit, they are cooked. They will either change or their head will be used to scare of the others. As for the other two, wait until they decide to cut down (significantly) on the fanservice to appease the woke weirdos and watch the fireworks.

This is what JDA was doing, rewriting history to suit a certain narrative. Even if you think Ethan is a shithead (and so do it) this makes no sense. Why would he leave his cushy job at DC where he was making good money to do a secret deal with Dynamite comics? And why would this coincidentally happen right after the election when Trump was ascendant? Dude was going out into the cold with no safety net, this wasn't some master plan of his. He could have published his own intellectual property anytime he wanted, he didn't need to quit DC to do it. It just doesn't pass the smell test.

Plenty of in the closet conservatives give false agreement when they're in commie territory to avoid having their career destroyed by being exposed for bad think. And plenty of Republicans didn't like Trump before he was nominated and only warmed to him slowly. I'm one of them. Honestly I still think Trump's actions are retarded sometimes but I have an appreciation for his virtues over other politicians.

Yes, Vonster is a total sack of dogshit. I actually thought his idea wasn't that bad but the 180 he did revealed himself to be such a phony. The vitriolic attacks on people making common sense arguments, just telling him to not shit on his own fans and try to be logical in his replies were out of control. He deserves poverty, he has no talent and doesn't deserve the privilege of making comics (just like so many comic "pros")

I'd love to see Ethan fall that low. I hate to say it but because Eric July is such a sucker I can see a scenario where EVS is felted, can't generate cash off of Comicsgheyt or the frog and then his wife gets sicker or dies, he goes to Eric.

I just think all these things are true:
  • Eric July is basically a sucker who isn't vindictive but can generate cash and would help an enemy if they were in real trouble.
  • EVS is a shameless lazy shitbag who would grift off his wife's death and would beg from a person he spit on.
  • EVS will likely be broke in another year or two.
  • EVS wife will likely be in serious medical trouble or dead in a year or two.
Put the above together and I can see a one shot special from Eric's company to raise 800K for Ethan when he's about tapped out. You know he's looking at every Eric launch with green eyes.

I knew about the Dynamite, yet another EVS deal he couldn't close. He is such a loser. I didn't know the never trumper stuff but not at all shocked. Someone on here recently was saying he likely wasn't a closet progressive but I suspected he was from other things and now more. I can't wait for the day he switches teams openly, I predict right after the election if T wins he will start to rag on him and by the mid terms he will be full team Dick and Vito, he will also dump comics to be a fulltime superchatter...I think his comics days are numbered.

Honestly? He probably has a self-storage. While rent on self-storages is very expensive, it is a lot cheaper than rent on an apartment. That doesn't really help with the comic stuff, obviously. (Except that when he gets comics back from the printers, that's probably where he keeps them until he fulfills the order.)

Normally, I don't begrudge people boarding with roommates or family to save money. The housing market is absurd, and if you missed your chance to buy in when it made sense, you have bad options right now. Saving money this way is sensible. Especially when your business model is as unreliable as Richard's is. But this makes his lack of humility and egomania quite annoying. He at least had enough self-awareness to essentially close his financial advice channel.

But no, those fantasy games and other fantasy games I haven't mentioned, don't exist to him. So, he talks about the latest Call of Duty: Black Ops game. Why would anyone looking for a swords and sorcery game be satisfied that there's a new Call of Duty game? Why would people complaining about a bad RPG be happy about a new military shooter?
