I knew he was buying toys instead of shipping books.

How? I mean, I wouldn't count myself as a Transformers fan (hey, when I was a child it was all Micronauts, sadly they are all gone now), but I still know enough about them to tell you that this is Megatron, a major Decepticon leader. Is he really that ignorant about the toys he's collecting?
Perhaps he's suffered a head injury and forgot what an Optimus Prime is.
Or... And this is---god forbid...
He's lying to get people to interact with that post beyond admiring the toy that this adult that makes fun of other adults for having toys---now owns.

The one thing I have learned with Youtubing, is that you get more interaction when you play dumb. Humans are generally pleasant creatures, at least where I come from, so when someone appears to be lacking in necessary information---Americans are happy to provide that; in spades.

I can only assume this is the case for most Western nations, Japan and Best Korea. I have only observed these attitudes there, but I also focus my attention there, and not to Russia, China, and the greater Arabia/Middle East/Ottoman Lands.

So this is why you see so many Youtube personalities, myself included, saying horrendously stupid shit. The good folks, who return the shopping cart, fly to the rescue to correct our mistakes. Youtube registers this as a flurry of interaction (good or bad doesn't matter) and promotes it to a larger audience in order to drive ad viewership that is woven into the video itself.

It's a game, some people are good at it, I don't put myself in that league. I can play stoner idiot very well, but not genuine room temperature IQ. It's the eyes. I suppose that's why Meyer doesn't put his mug on camera these days. You'd be able to see the shit eating grin on his face.

Meyer once stated that "He-Man was for the dumb kids, GI Joe was for the average kids, and Transformers were for the smart kids. I was into GI Joe."
So make of that what you will.

"Why aren't these sword and sorcery nerds who enjoy franchises like Harry Potter, Willow, Game of Thrones, Lord of the Rings playing the new Call of Duty?!" - He says while most likely not playing Call of Duty but seeing it get praise.

"I don't know what a Transmorfer is, but golly it's fun!" - He says while saying Eric July cannot comment on Dragon Age because... x reason?

and the crowd goes mild.

I'm sorry I haven't been keeping up with this thread, but I could have sworn the last time I checked in Zach said he was going off line to catch up on his gigantic backlog of work. I thought or maybe assumed that meant he wouldn't be back until he was all caught up? And by implication that he was going to be gone for a while?

Yet when I peek in, here he is carrying on his unrequited gay love affair with Critical Drinker, seemingly without missing a beat. And I assume the work that was there before is still all there. Heck, did he even go off-line at all? Did I imagine the whole thing? Sorry for being curious enough to ask without being willing to wade through 40 or so pages of posts.

I never heard so much cope, and rewriting of history in all my Life. Rosa Parks Malin Dark Grift.

I still trying to catch up after a 7 hour stream, but lol. points are made on all
sides and every one is a hypocrite all in all great content cause I love a good shit show.

at around 3 hours the yelling woke me up from a long needed drunk nap

Simple. What he says and what he does are two different things.

His previous "great silence" from early January lasted about a week. This more recent one not even three days. Correct me if I'm wrong but since Jan. he's only delivered one or two books from his backlog.

If Zack is merely rooming with someone, where is he storing all his junk?

I guess this also means he doesn't have proper space to do his comic stuff or fulfill his orders.
Honestly? He probably has a self-storage. While rent on self-storages is very expensive, it is a lot cheaper than rent on an apartment. That doesn't really help with the comic stuff, obviously. (Except that when he gets comics back from the printers, that's probably where he keeps them until he fulfills the order.)

I've assumed for the last 3-4 years that when he says these oft used phrases...
"I was talking to a friend"
or
"Here in my friend's house"
...he means imaginary friends. How would an apparently compulsive, ADHD, autistic, aspie over 30 have any actual friends?

...unless he's been committed to an institution all this time....

Edited for an afterthought

Is Zack smart enough to play this kind of engagement game? I can't tell if he's cunning or a complete ignoramus.

Also, this is the same guy who took out a business loan who is now throwing away hundreds (thousands?) of dollars on video game stuff and statues of characters he's not really even that invested in? Jesus Christ.

Lol. I didn't realize you had to be an intellectual to be into transforming robots.
Maybe his endgame is to room in with EVS in some kind of Nick Rakieta-Aaron Imholte symbiosis.
There was a time when EVS was very keen on bringing Zack into his circle. He wanted to get Zack to do a regular stream with just the two of them. Zack ghosted EVS pretty hard. I don't know that Zack likes or trusts EVS all that much.

Only that's not true. Too bad that Zack gives reviews for YouTubers he doesn't watch. (Seems a little hypocritical, Zack.) They've talked about Black Ops 6 on Geeks and Gamers streams. From what they've said, it's another Black Ops game. Meaning, there's nothing unusual or remarkable enough about it to make special videos on it. If you like Black Ops games, you will love/hate it as much as the rest.

Are you sure about that? Because then that would mean the Empty-Jarhead guy who joined the military to escape legal ramifications is spending all his time crying about sword and sorcery nerds who aren't reviewing the game he isn't playing...

and I know for a fact My hero Zack would never do that.

Any seasoned player knows every COD game is the same. They just change the thematics for the sake of presenting something new. They subtract features more often than they add them. Most of what Black Ops 6 is getting heat from G+G for is the normal shit that goes on any time the devs add anything new to the game. Maps, skins, weapons--all of it results in glitches that the game is legendary for. Sometimes those glitches help you, sometimes they fuck you.

Also, any gamer, worth his salt anyway, will shit on a game after losing. Who the fuck are you trying to impress Richard Meyer?
When I fall into lava in Minecraft, you fucking bet I'm cursing Notch's name to the heavens. You either want to win so bad you'll go super saiyan if you fail, or you're just kinda---"yeah whatever, I'm doing this for my friends."

Find me a gamer that doesn't smash everything in their immediate area when they lose.
It's just the competitive spirit that most gamers have, and Activisions reluctance to playtest their own games (maybe).

My hero Zack
My Hero: Zackademia, you know you want it.

Firstly, he lacks the willingness to commit to such a game. He could have done a ton of things to help with engagement but he refused because of his peculiarities.

And secondly, he should have stopped when he started losing his precious few subs.

Lol. I didn't realize you had to be an intellectual to be into transforming robots.
To be fair, you have to have really high IQ to understand Transformers.

For all the good that might have brought upon Meyer, EVS demands your total loyalty, commitment and attention. Even by granting YBZ a special membership card, it wouldn't be long before EVS would ask something from Zack that he wouldn be able or willing to give. Gotta give YaBoi credit for walking away even if it was actually for his own dumb reasons.

Meyer once stated that "He-Man was for the dumb kids, GI Joe was for the average kids, and Transformers were for the smart kids. I was into GI Joe."
So make of that what you will.

Inside Meyer's head:

He-Man = Sword+Sorcery, ergo, fantasy where you don't need any brains

GI Joe = Military, ergo, realistic setting

Transformers= Advanced Tech, ergo, nuuuurrrrrrdss

Dumb kid: Liam Grey (self-admitted He-man fan)
Average Kid: Richard C. Meyer (self-admitted GI Joe Fan)
Smart Kid: Nick Rekieta (Has lifelong trauma over a teacher taking away one of his transformers)

It does kind of work. Richard is right for once.

It really doesn't when you realize all three of the people you've listed are fucking retarded. Lol
