The funny thing was at the time EVS also wanted to publish Zack's books as Zack was behind and EVS still wasn't as far behind on as many books as he is now. Maybe Zack sensed that EVS was trying to move in like crocodile looking for that sweet, sweet revenue.

I wonder how old Zack was when these all came out? I'm thinking he might have been a little too old, which makes his breakdown (il)logic even weirder.

I was the perfect age for all of these. I don't know WTF Zack is talking about. Nobody at school made the kind of distinctions that Zack is making. Everybody loved all of these things whether you were dumb, average, or smart. All three of these shows were equally pop culture toy commercials. Smart kids with snobby parents were limited to reading books or watching PBS or National Geographic, not watching Transformers, lol.

Zack was born in '74 IIRC. Masters of the Universe & Larry Hama's GI Joe came out in 1982, the Transformers in '84, so he might have been about 8 years old when this stuff first hit the shelves.

Zack is like that comedian who says something he thinks is a universal observation and the crowd just kind of chuckles and then after the show say "I don't know what that guy was talking about"

I just clicked around that stream and what I heard is one of the more embarrassing things I've ever listened too. These are middle-aged, grown-assed men crying like a bunch of little bitches - about comic book drama. Head wound innuendo? WTF has this all come to?

Cecil was on Trashcast last night and guess what - people actually tuned in to watch. It did a lot better than Ethan's recent streams. I wonder if he'll figure out that he can't just be on by himself rambling about Eric July if he wants to keep people interested.
